Getting Custom Furniture To Work

I’m a pretty new Simmer to the land of CC, but I’ve never tried to get furniture CC into the game before. There is one I found on ModTheSims for a kitchen pack that looked pretty awesome so I downloaded that and moved it into my mods folder.

I’ve got all mods enabled in the settings but when I’ve tried to find these items in the catalogue nothing is there!

They are one folder deep as I like to keep my mods organised by creator, so I’m hoping someone a bit more versed in using cc and mods can help me out. 😅

Should I just keep the mod in the main folder instead of being one deep? I’ve also read in a google search that clearing the “local cache” can help to fix these issues too.

Please help... I am invested in getting these items for a new apartment I’m working on. 🤩

Easiest fix is probably to tweak your Resource.cfg config file. Mine looks like this:

Priority 500
PackedFile *.package
PackedFile */*.package
PackedFile */*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*/*/*.package

That should be enough folders deep for your purposes
