ok so my build is coming along but i kinda challenged myself to use every object so um yeah it's going to be kinda let's say bold and i'm wondering if the room based around the bed is to crazy what do you think @ciane and be honest i don't really go to crazy with colors like this but um you know blam the challenge
This is a really fun room. I like the boldness of the colors and even the mixed patterns. It would be fun for a teen but not an adult. I probably would replace the posters with a nice mirror and nothing else.

um may i point out the point is to find a way to use the bed the way it is but i do agree a lot of time it doesnt work to have a bold patterned wall with a lot of posters but you may be right that a light pink color for the walls could work
Oops, yeah. I just meant that I did like the Hearts pattern, but not with those posters. Your goal to use everything does make a more challenging challenge.
@seaben Your first room reminds me of the store, Limited Too, in the early 2000s, google it! Love it. I would add a plain colored wall if you’re going to go for bold color. I like how you used the cabinets above the twin bed. Also, second room makes good use of the fireplace!! I would suggest adding a plain light color rug next to the bed to lighten up the room and make it cozy.
Sort of unrelated, but on the topic of decorating, I found this great color wheel with codes on Pinterest to use in the game!
Yeah I did change the color of the wall in the first room to light pink because like ciane said it makes it to busy with the posters thank you for the link to the color codes it will help when being a detail freak when casting
@seaben I like the blue room and the fireplace. I may have to try that with one of my sims. I'm curious as to whether they will light a fire in it.
Also, I see the sofa as off-white or eggshell. hmmm Maybe I'm color blind.
OK I'm officially back I don't have the sims 3 installed ATM but I'm going to hopefully reinstalled it tomorrow I will absolutely have a new challenge for January let's bring on 2021 everybody 🎉
@ciane@oliv3@adwillson@ErnesaT@Pinkusfamily and anybody else that likes these challenges i have a new challenge ready for 2021 the download link is here https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=9435521 i forgot how to change the name of the link so can someone please remind me how to do that and one more i accidentally put the chiar from show time as one of the objects you have to chose from but everything else is base game i tried to tone it down a bit so let me know if its still a bit to crazy this was built on a 30x30 lot good luck I'm looking foreword to seeing what you all make
@Seaben, I hope you're doing well!! Just now seeing this and its been a crazy, busy month for me. Your January shell foundation looks insanely challenging, but very tempting.. However, not sure if I'll get around to it since it's almost the deadline. Looking forward to February if you're around!

How cute and beachy. I really like the treehouse and small lake.

Interesting how I never think to place it like that, lol ... learning new things while seeing what others do is always fun.
