Since last week was the anniversary of my senior prom I was feeling a little nostalgic for the fun and excitement of getting dressed up in an awesome tux and having a good time with my friends. Since you can't see what happens inside the schools in the game or what their interior would look like, I took it upon myself to create a prom-like setting for my Angel City save file. Complete with an undersea theme.
@hellokitty1496 Actually my school's prom had a Broadway theme instead of an Under the Sea theme, and it was held in a ballroom of a fancy downtown hotel. I just went with the underwater setting because it made sense with the blue lighting. Now that I think about it, if I wanted to I could've used some of the urban stage props from Showtime as well as a few decorative items from Late Night to make a Broadway themed prom.
@gamerplaya94 Sounds like it would be pretty cool either way. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I'm interested in making a café soon for three and four. Building can be so difficult, but rewarding in the end.
This one's for you @hellokitty1496 and anyone else who wanted the Broadway/Under the Stars prom.
I encourage anyone who visits this discussion to post pics of their build of a high school dance. And feel free to use any theme such as Halloween, Christmas, Valentines' Day, Space Age, or any other theme you can come up with.
That's really cool!
I often throw a formal party only for the town teens to pretend that it's a prom party outside the school. The teens go to the local bar, club or lounge and have fun.
Next time, I'll throw a themed one just like you did. Showtime has some cool props for unique parties.

Looks pretty cool. Hope you enjoyed the memories. I like the ambiance of the coloured lighting too. Well done
