There are a lot of things I love about TS4, but if I had to choose just one then it has to be the vampires. They are just so versatile and fun to play.

LiELF Without vampires, I would've given up on the game long time ago. I almost did in fact.

To answer the question, Sims 4 is an excellent medium for storytelling.

@ArcherDK Pretty much the same for me. I was getting very, very bored, and while everyone else was screaming for toddlers, I was over here like, "Vampires please?" Getting both of those in a two-week span was beautiful. Everyone was in a good mood for a while.

My favourite thing on sims 4 is the gallery. It saved me hours of searching for lots anywhere.

@telmarina I agree. The gallery is easy to use and it makes the process of finding what you want, faster.

I absolutely love the mud puddles that came with Seasons. Always great for a laugh.

I love building in the Sims 4. Build mode is fun to use, especially with the more packs you have in the game.

Cats & dogs, toddlers, smooth animations, graphics, CAS, how the Sims look and the overall feeling of the game.

@LiELF I The best part about vampires in this game is how much customization is available.
One can make a more modern interpretation of a vampire or a more traditional one. And all work.
IMHO the only Occult Maxis has done well in Sims 4. No offence to other occult intended.

I love that you can travel between worlds, the fact that socialising is so much easier, the multi-tasking sims can now do, and ultimately the: graphics / visual aesthetic and I love the genetics!

Oh and the toddlers are actually MEGA CUTE and not just annoying

I like the glass roofs and also the way the game will let me build a house in such a shape that I cannot find a roof to cover the whole house. I can tile that extra bit that I can't fix a roof to and put a fountain or some sprinklers on it.Total randomness. Only in the sims can you have a working fountain on your roof.

I originally bought TS4 because of CAS. It's so cool how different looking sims one can create, but I have to say I have also grown very fond of the graphics.

Toddlers for me. Horses would probably be a close second if released.

You can visit or live in many different worlds rather than being stuck in just one like in previous versions. Also the flexibility with designing your own shops, restaurants, spas etc

    - Smooth animations
    - Routing
    - CAS
    - Build mode
    - The calender!!
    - Toddlers

Well... that's it I think. I'm sad I can't really compliment the gameplay.

It doesn't freeze up like in Sims 3.
The vamps & wiccans are more playable than in Sims 3.
There are challenges in the Sims 4.
    Building modes are fabulous.

I couldn't limit it to only a single detail, it is the combination of many (CAS, Toddlers, etc.). One thing I like a lot is the modularity in saving, like extracting a household and re-using it in another save. There is admittedly room for improvement (e.g. craftables losing their data between saves), but overall it allows to be very flexible.

Toddlers are awesome, this is really tied for what I like most about the game.

It's hard to pin point just one thing but multi-tasking comes to mind as a real stand out for me as far as game play goes.

Also building and being able to pick up and move walls and houses around.
yep building has come a long way.

The customization is definitely one of the strong points of Vampires. They were so well thought out.

I do like the Spellcasters and Mermaids too...but I still feel that the magic pack should have been an EP because they could have done so much more with them. I've never been much into Mermaids to begin with, so maybe that's why I like them. I feel that they turned out more interesting than I expected. I never felt like they should have the extent of powers that Vampires have, so I think that what they do have is appropriate.

I kind of like Aliens as they are as well. But I never really considered them one of the "Occults" because they're more sci-fi.

But Ghosts could really use an overhaul. And where are the Werewolves, man?!

There are a lot of things I love about Sims 4. Definitely things that make it better than Sims 3 and things that make it worse but...

    To the question:

I would say the careers. We have rabbit hole careers, work at home careers and go to work careers! This is awesome!

When my families' moods are failing across the board, I escape by sending my doctor sim to work and let the rest sort themselves out. lol

Of course, that can also be done simply by running away to another lot but hey, it's always fun when you're stressed to take someone's heart out on the operating table!

But seriously, I love the Get to Work pack.
