No worries @luckyheather! Take care of yourself and enjoy your builds. Would love to see the finished product since I'm not on Twitch (though for you, I just may sign up).
Laughing Horse Run is a lovely family home! @LionessInMN Very nice red and white exterior colours, and the flowerboxes and planterbox windows are very nice! Very lovely glass roof greenhouse! Very nice homely and country style furnishing of the interior! The wooden textured furniture, walls and flooring is very nice. The sunny sunflowers on the kitchen counter are nice, and the basket of eggs and chickens are great! Pretty sunflowers bed pattern in the master bedroom, and the gnome and bunny in the kids room is cute!
I am looking at your 'Lighthouse Cottage' in Brindleton Bay @icanhassims and the exterior blue and white is so pretty and the walls around the garden and plants suit it so well. Love the cat mailbox and door mat are so cute. Inside we have a pretty Living room with objects for a lucky cat/cats and seating to watch the TV over the fireplace. I Love the pet art by the cats bed and opposite the automatic feeder so they wont get hungry. Through the door there is a very pretty kitchen with double stoves and plenty of counters and wall nits for any cook to enjoy. Next door is a neat dining room with a round table globe bar and china cabinet, I wonder who gets to eat off the best china!
Downstairs next to a basement that has a very nice double bedroom with walk in wardrobe and full bathroom that matches all the blue tones in the basement. Behind the stairs is a room full of entertainment for this family and friends including room to dance, Foosball and a Ping Pong table and great art on the walls.
To go upstairs you go out the rear door and out there and have a BBQ and sit in the sun under a brolly so you do not get sun burn. Up the stairs into the hall and we find a nice study with books and computer on a desk with another cats condo in case cats want to keep you company! Next is a wonderful double bedroom with gorgeous glass laps by the bed, seating for relaxing with a good book and of course a pet bed as well. A nice Bridlington painting above the dresser and a pretty full length mirror by the door. Another full bathroom in pretty blue tones with the white. Back into the hall and go up and up the stairs up to the Lighthouse itself where you get the best views while sitting on the sofa maybe cuddling up there watching the stars at night. And of course your pets can join you up there too.
Such a pretty home with plenty of room for a family, thank you for creating it from the shell, Love it.
Some Feedback, Tips and ideas if you want you can ignore as its just what I think. First its great how you added plenty of objects for pets needs and for their fun even upstairs. I dont know if on purpose or uploading did it but the ground floor bathroom was empty, soon fixed though. I feel the coffee table was too close to the Fireplace, it may catch fire im not sure and a fire alarm close by might be a precaution. I know you were not completely happy with the home we all have days/builds like that. Its very pretty and the only furniture I would have chosen a different colour was the dining room table and cabinet I think I would try to get wood like the living room sofa wood tone or white. Just what I would do. Up in the lighthouse I would have a radio on the table to sit and listen too. I hope this was helpful, thank you so much for using my shell.
Thanks for the lovely summary and great feedback. I think in my stupor I just forgot to put in the bathroom items. Oops! I agree with you on the wood coloring of the dining table too. And love the idea of a radio at the top of the tower. Also, now I'm curious to find out if a coffee table can catch on fire! haha
Ha ha @icanhassims I suppose seeing the coffee table on fire might be rather amusing! will the actual fireplace catch fire too and the TV!!! let me know if they do I am glad my thoughts were useful, I usually try to put at least 1 object in a room or level to get a sim wanting to go to an area and use it Thanks again for joining in so many of my challenges I appreciate it, and thanks for friending me on Twitch, my channel page is there and to Follow me for later just click on the black heart up the top. The aim in Twitch is to reach fifty followers to become affiliated Thanks again.
I am now looking at your 'No Llamatations' Nightclub @LionessInMN and from the street its a stunning build I love the Black with the white and blue glowing wall covering it really lets you know its a great Club to go to. The outside is so attractive with the pools and water features I do love water movement. Nice Llama topiary for the theme and a great Neon sign on top of the building, now going inside first where the colours carry on from the outside and there is a gorgeous Bar area with lots of bottles behind ready for the mixologist to use. Next to that is a top quality DJ Booth, dance floor and laser lights to set the mood. Its nice there is seating for when you get tired or just sit, watch and chat.
Upstairs to were you can sit and look down to the dance floor below or play a game of wake the Llama. There is a snack kitchen so no one will go hungry, such a good idea and perfect for people to sit and get to make new friends or even have a Date in the club. If anyone want to try Karaoke in the other room others will sit and watch the big screen and listen to you do your best to keep up with the prompter, or have a go at telling jokes to get them laughing. There is a guitar in there too for those budding guitarists to show off their skill.
The rear garden area is perfect for a party around the large pool with plenty of tables with brolly and 2 bars to sit at as well and order drinks and snacks. The lantern lights look so pretty around plus attractive tree's in planters and bushes with flowers that match the lamps, such a lovely area to use the loungers and sofa's around, great for a cuddle. There is a music speaker on the bathroom side so everyone will enjoy listening to while at the bar, there are 3 full bathrooms so you can stay refreshed for the evening.
Its a gorgeous Nightclub created from one of my shell's thank you for creating and sharing it here with us.
Some Feedback, ideas and Tips for you and I hope they are useful, but just my thoughts as usual. I do love the Nightclub it looks amazing in the game, I just have a few things I would change or add to it, upstairs in the Karaoke room I would have not added the microphone and guitar as if sims were using the Karaoke and the other items it would be rather noisy and the mixture of different sounds personally, I would not enjoy while playing the game, if you get my meaning Lol. Also the Karaoke was moved with moo so I hope it works ok it would need a tester to make sure.
Outside he pool is great, I might have added a diving platform and a couple more pool ladders. I love brolly tables and the benches though I would have chosen more modern looking ones like the base game ones to match in with the whole modern feel of the club. The bathrooms are great as they have a shower in but I do not think I would have added a bath as well as showers are faster and a sim in a bath can take ages and stop people using the toilets. I was pleased to see the bars outside as one bar at a club gets so busy so great work creating this Nightclub and I was amazed that you used a house shell for it, very creative of you! Thank you.
@LionessInMN you did make Barn shell 7 into a very nice home, called 'Laughing Horse Run' and I am looking at it now in my game and the red Clapboard and the white windows, doors and columns etc give it a typical barn look also a modern farm style. The path up to the front doors is so welcoming with the flowers and the cute pig statue is so perfect there for the theme. The front window boxes and benches are just lovely there in case anyone wants to sit outside and watch the world go by or sit and read a book. Inside is a pretty country style table and chairs and kitchen area on the right and on the left by the other front door is the television area plus a Llama gaming table, chess set and other skill and fun objects so a family can learn and play together anytime. Also bookshelf on the wall by the workbench and in the corner a desk with a very good computer for anyone to use next to a door into the full bathroom.
Now upstairs we find an open plan child's bedroom one end with toys, chemistry set and a painting activity table and the opposite end is the double bed with pretty sunflowers cover. Very nice decorations around all the upper level with the country style that suits the home and it has doors out to a large balcony that faces views of the front of the house with lots of seating and pretty planters all around.
The living room has doors to the outside where first we have a BBQ area and two tables and chairs for outdoor dining or sit on the wooden bench. The garden has some great country farm touches like Hay Bales and fruit boxes by the greenhouse that has perfect harvest for the family to use and the greenhouse has a glass roof so all plants get plenty of light all year round. The garden has some gorgeous trees of different kinds and colours of leaves that look so nice along with wild flowers and some bushes.
Its a lovely country home so thank you for creating it from the barn shell you did a great home from it.
Now for some feedback, tips and ideas I hope are of use. Starting inside, you may not have realized the 2 fruit pictures are a little high I will add a screenshot below. I know trying to get all the wood furniture the same colour is difficult but I would have used the VAULT counters in the 1st colour option as its a nice warm pine colour, but then the wall units of the same set are not the same tone, so its difficult when you were not using more packs! The opposite end of the room you used the same splinter sitter chairs in a darker colour and the sofas in another darker wood. I would try to match as much as I could even using a sofa with no wood, or very little wood if I have to. Upstairs I would have made it into two bedrooms so more private for the parents and out on the balcony something fun like the Llama game you have downstairs. Outside next the greenhouse is very nice but I would have matched window frames and door colours to match the house ones. The garden is pretty though I would have added some fun out there for the child and the adults for example the monkey bars and a small pool and toss the horseshoe game. Well I hope that was helpful its only my thoughts on what I would do or change. Thanks again for your hard work and for entering my challenges.
@luckyheather I kept you busy! lol Thanks for the reviews and the tips! They are appreciated.
I can tell you the karoake works at the club, because my Sim tested it, and I have a picture of her singing. I almost didn't put the microphone and guitar in there but I thought they would be nice when karoake wasn't being used.
As you can see, I struggled with colors in the farm! It was a real challenge when nothing matched! I was determined to keep the build light on packs though so I was hoping they didn't clash. I was actually quite surprised that it worked to change it into a house. The bedroom situation upstairs frankly drove me nuts. Every time I would close the rooms with a wall or even half wall to the sides, the roof popped through and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. After 2 hours of trying things I gave up and settled for not closing them in
@LionessInMN Lol yes you did but I enjoy looking around the builds so taking time is worth it I feel. I am pleased the review and tips are of use. I thought you may have tested the Karaoke Yes the colour matching drives us all crazy and only using 1 pack was hard! Oh so the roof was the problem thats a shame ah well you tried
Thanks for the reply its good to hear back from you. I hope you and yours are staying Safe and Well at this time.

Medium Sized Family Home is a lovely home! @icanhassims Pretty blue exterior and interior colour, and the pool wrapping around corner is great! Very nice outdoor woodwork area. Lovely interior furnishings and design! Very nice fireplace sofa seat sitting area to enjoy watching tv and reading. The flowers on the coffee table are pretty, and calming candles on the fireplace ledge. Very nice windows dining area for Sims to enjoy eating meals in the sunshine. The plants are nice nature touches on the table top. Very nice bedroom designs! Cute animal chair corner in the kids room to enjoy reading!
@icanhassims thats a pretty Family home and I hope to do the review today, I woke with my back painful so I will hopefully get to your home later as I have downloaded it and added it to the maxis fave thread already
