Is there a mod to let you write a song SOONER?

It always seemed strange to me that you can start writing a book-a childen's book granted, but still--and short stories at really low writing levels, but writing a song doesn't even become an option till level eight?? I'd really love it if there was a mod that lowered that to something around level five or so. I'm fine with the quality and money you get from licensing being less, but my sims should be able to write simple songs before level eight.

A mod allowing you to license more than one song per instrument per week would also be appreciated, since that also never made any sense to me. You can publish twenty kids books in a day with no problem, but can only licence one piano song a week? Nonsense.

I'm not sure about unlocking the feature at a lower level, but I found a thread on MTS that has a link to a potential mod for removing the licensing limit. I don't have an account on the site that the link directs you to, so I can't offer a lot of details about it.

It's from 2017, and being unable to check the mod out directly I don't know if CoolSpear is still updating it or not. Worth a check!

It seems to only be on the asylum website, which I can't view or access

Update: also apparently you can't license at all until level 9??? WHat on EARTH???? PLEASE tell me someone has a mod to fix this!

And thanks for the recs given here, not quite what I was looking for but maybe something like that will help some.

The UICheats Extension allows you to promote your Sims in their career faster. I use it to avoid the grind of going to work for weeks just to get one promotion. You can adjust the job performance level to 100 after each promotion so if your Sim works five days per week, you can possibly go up four levels in any career in five Sim days. Or you can just click on any skill your Sim has and set it to whatever level you want. It's a great mod, easy to use and the creator is very quick to update when patches and updates come along.
