I recently got back into the city of Praaven and decided to start a new story.And sometimes I get asked about threads.So I'll try to keep it here as well.


This is Eleana Forrester, she lives in a small hut on the outskirts of Praaven.
Her grandmother recently passed, leaving the poor girl by herself, luckily
she has a sister who visits every so often to check in our her.Today she was
asked to go to the local butcher to pick up some meats for supper."Fifty copper is all I have.I
must be careful on how much I spend." She made a mental note of how much coin she had
as she wiggled her hands.


"Good day Eleana, How goes it?" Claire asked in her usual chirpy self.
"Good morning Claire, I'm just fine thank you.And yourself? How are things
around the shop?" "Well, I'm still here...So I guess that's good enough?" Claire shrugged."
"Anyways, what can we get you?" "a small package of beef, one small duck and the smallest
turkey you have." "Coming up...that's 49 copper." Oh thank you good maker.I have enough
She handed the coin over to Claire; who eyeballed it cautiously.


"Eleana, I can't accept these.They're fake." Eleana believed Claire to be joking."Please,
no tomfoolery today." "I'm afraid this isn't a joke.And I don't take fake coins Eleana.I'm
going to have to call the city guard."


"My sister gave these to me Claire.Why would she give fake coin?" Claire shrugged."I don't know.
But here's the guard." Eleana felt ashamed, hurt and betrayed by someone she considered a dear friend.
"You should know I would never pass off fake coins...purposely."


"What seems to be the trouble here ladies?" The captain asked as he approached the shop.
"This lady here has ordered 49 copper worth of products and refuses to pay.She gives me fake
coin." "Is this true my lady?" "Claire! I had no idea these were fake...I don't even know how to tell
the difference." "I'm afraid I will have to bring you back to court."

"Roi,what seems to be the trouble over there? Do you reckon I should take
a look and see what the fuss is all about?" The horse neighed as Edward rubbed his neck.
"My thoughts exactly."


"My lady, please do not make this anymore difficult than it needs to be.The
King will not appreciate you putting up a fight, now let's go." "And I don't think he'd
appreciate you speaking to a lady in such tone." Edward said as he entered the shop."What is
all the fuss about.I could hear the yelling a mile past the old mill." "This lady brought in fake coin
and refuses to pay."


"And how do you know she didn't receive these from someone else?" Edward asked.
"Exactly." Eleana added."I don't.But these are indeed fake, and I need to take her in.." "You
will do no such thing.Her debt has been paid..Here's the 49.Your job is done here Captain


"Thank you good sir." Eleana thanked her timely rescuer."You didn't need to do that." "It was
no trouble at all my lady.But do you mind if I ask just how you came to own these coins? May
I see one?" "Of course...Here." "These are indeed fake." "My sister gave them to me, I honestly
had no idea...please don't bring me to the King.I don't want to be hanged." "Maker!" Edward shouted
"I honestly don't think he'd do that you...He might be more understanding than you think."I rather
not find out...I like my neck where it is


"I won't say a word.But you need not fret over something that you had no control over.
nobody is going to punish you for that." "I'm much obliged sir.Thank you." "It was my pleasure
my lady.I'm afraid I must take my leave now.It was nice to meet you." "And you, good sir."

"Good morning Maiden.Where is my sister!.." Eleana noticed her sister
over yonder in the garden, working on plants."Dear Sister, please come here!"


Oh Eleana! Good morning sister.Have you picked up the supplies for supper?"
"I have not.And you want to know why? Them coins you gave me, they said they were
fake! the castle guard almost arrested me." "Fake? what do you mean fake?" "They weren't real!
I looked like a fool in front of a stranger that had decided to take pity on me." "I had no idea...sister I would never
do such a thing." "Sure you wouldn't...because you're the perfect one you are, all high and mighty, walking around
with your fancy gowns and your fake accent." "How dare you." "How dare I? "How dare you..you shrew." Eleana stormed
off into the cottage.


Eleana scoured the kitchen for her cooking utensils to prepare for evening meal.
Since her sister refused to help; it took about 4 hours to chop, cut, pour,mix and
bake a dinner.


"About this stranger Eleana...Have you seen this gentleman before? Sarah asked curious
about the man who helped Eleana."I have not, nor do I know his name.He paid my debt, and
did confirm that your coin were indeed fake.I begged not to be arrested and taken to King Edward.He
assured me that he wouldn't say a word." "And it is for the best, sister.If the King got word.We'd both
be off to the gallows." "Thank you for the reassurance dear Sarah.I do value your input."


Eleana:
From ice from Ice we forresters born, to ice we are returned.
Father, brother I sworn I sworn, to guard this rest you earned.
May kings and Queens melt down their crowns, a pyre on Eagon's Hill.
And floods of gold, I pray they drown, for all the blood they spilled.

Men sound the horns of winters past,call starving giants fourth.
Urge cannibals to break their fast, on wardens of the north.
Eastern mages empty their veins of beasts across the sea.
paint slavers bay in crimson red, to bring Ethan back to me.

His final words, faced with the sword, chilled Ramsay to the bone.
"You will not have her, I am lord.And I protect my own.And I protect my own."
Fight on Fight on Ethan the brave, old guards bear steel to you.My twin, a heroes
grave, so iron grows a new.Still iron grows anew.

"Roi could use a drink and a rest.Is there a resting point nearby?" Edward asked his
men as they rode through the wood."I believe there is a homestead just over yonder.
Perhaps the owner will be kind enough to assist." "We go there."


Eleana was just waking up to do her chores.Her sister had left for home
first thing this morning."Oh Maiden, I forgot to feed you.I'm sorry love.


"Morning Claira, Bella, Lucy.Oh! you gave me eggs this morning.Good girls."
Eleana had been struggling to get her chicks to produce for a long time, so she
was quite content when she noticed the small eggs in the corner.


"Excuse me, my lady but may we trouble you for some water for the horses."
Sir Jacob called out as they approached the homestead.Eleana looked up to
see His majesty and his knights standing before her.


"Forgive me, your majesty.I didn't hear you approach.Of course I would
be happy to help." "Thank you my lady, We are much obliged." Edward dismounted his
horse and approached Eleana.


"We've spoke before haven't we?" He asked her."If we have your majesty, it was
briefly.I don't travel much." "I see.Please stand."


Edward recognized her as the young lady from the butcher shop.She, however
didn't recognize him at all."Forgive me, my lady, but I'm fairly certain we have spoken
most recently." "I'm afraid my memory has slipped me then, your majesty.I don't recall
any meetings." He laughed lightly."Its quite alright.I looked quite different then."


"Shoo! Shoo!" Jacob swatted at the bee that buzzed around his head.
"Get out of here!" He swatted it one last time, and it buzzed off angerly over
toward Thomas and Maiden."OWWW!" Thomas shouted.


Maiden: Neighs(I've been stung! I've been stung.Oh maker that hurts.)
Thomas: Help! I've been trampled to death.


"That had to hurt." Edward gasped."Well it didn't tickle." Thomas shouted.
"Oh maker! I'm so sorry.She's usually so well behaved."


Jacob burst out in laughter."Thomas was mauled by a horse! A lady horse
at that.Ha!" "That isn't very kind Jacob." Edward said as he fought back his laughter.
"That horse is a pain in the plum...." Thomas said. "Literally." Eleana added.


"No Thomas, you just need to know how to treat her." Edward said as he approached
the horse."She's a beautiful girl.What's her name?" "Her name is Maiden." "A beautiful
horse with a beautiful name."


Maiden: -sniffs- "You smell interesting.."
Thomas: Wonderful.You get sniffed, and I get a swift kick in my lower end.


"You just have to be gentle with them Thomas." Edward said as he
watched the horse carefully.(I had to take this photo! I just found him
rather endearing in it.XD)


Eleana offered the men cold drinks before they left."I apologize again
good knight, my horse is usually well behaved." "Its quite alright, m'lady.
Its not your fault.I believe she was stung by a bee.I was just on the wrong side is
all."

The morning sun shined bright over Praaven this morning.Eleana
had left to work at her sister's laundry shop, Since Sarah had decided
she was taking the day off.Eleana was about to head inside when she heard
a voice from behind."Good Morning Eleana, how are you?" She turned around
to see Edward standing behind her.She recognized him from the butcher shop..
and now she realized who he was...."Your majesty, forgive me for the other day.
I did not recognize you as the one who had helped me." Edward smiled sweetly at
the young maiden."There's no need to apologize Eleana...Sometimes its nice to not
have people fussing over me." "Thank you for your kindness, sir." "May we beg a favor
of you my lady? Our horses are rather thirsty..again.." "Oh but of course! Please do come in."


After leading the horses to water; Eleana escorted King Edward and Sir Thomas
into the laundry room."Please do come in, I will get some drinks." She worked
on putting the last bit of laundry into the wash basin.And decided to let it soak
while she spoke with his highness.


"You've spoke of a sister Eleana.In the few times we've met, I have yet to see her?
Does she not help with your work?" Eleana took a deep sigh."Sarah isn't the best
of company, I'm afraid.I'm more of an indentured servant to her, than a sister." The
king looked rather confused."Indentured servant?" "Yes..she wants meals, but won't go
to get the supplies, so I have to walk myself, before sunrise.Its fine, I love being outside.
but her attitude makes it difficult to want to help her." "Why do you let her treat you in such
a way?" "She's all I got.And I'm all she's got.I may not like her much, but we're still sisters."


After her chat with the King, Eleana ran outside to rinse off the soap and
hang the laundry on the line.


Edward approached maiden to greet her."Good morning maiden,looking
just as lovely as before." The horse neighed in content."You handle horses very
well, your majesty." Eleana spoke as she came around the corner."A little love can
go a long way." He replied."How about going for a ride?" "I would like that." Eleana said.


Before the King and Thomas were even mounted,Eleana was off
like the wind."Maker! I can barely keep up with this maiden." Thomas
shouted."Nor can I, she's very spirited."


The King was able to reach Eleana.They decided to take a slow
paced stroll through the woods.The sun was at its highest, with temps
almost nearing 104, but the wind felt wonderful as it gently blown through
the leaves.


Roi(Horse): Maiden you have a nice back view.Care to ride beside me?(neighs)
Maiden: How about a kick in the head with my back hoof.
Roi: Horse like owner.You both are cheeky.

It had been a long day, and the sun was beginning to set, still they rode on
Eleana hadn't been this far out into Praaven before, everything was so new to her.


She enjoyed taking in her surroundings, and had stopped a few times to soak
in the fresh air and bright sunlight.


"Looks like it will storm soon." Thomas noted."Perhaps we should head back?" But
the King and Eleana were too lost in conversation to pay attention to the poor knight
who was getting drenched by rain.


I just had to capture this facial expression.Its so funny.


"The horses are getting restless, perhaps we should give them a break or head back." Edward said, noting
that Roi was a bit antsy."I should head back, myself.My sister won't take lightly to me being away so long and
neglecting my chores." "If she has a problem, I'd be happy to send Jacob to settle her issues." Edward said as
he looked back at Eleana.



The three headed back toward Eleana's house.She hoped Sarah wouldn't be there
when she got back.

"Well, look who decided to come home." Sarah shouted as Eleana arrived.
"You forgot to finish the clothes and I had to give refunds."Hope not with fake coins." Eleana
said as she rolled her eyes."You know what...just go, get out of here for tonight...you're useless
Eleana." Sarah stormed off to finish the gardening.


Eleana decided it was best to head toward town, perhaps the Inn
had a spare room she could bunk in for the night.She felt her cheeks
burning with anger, as her tears soaked her face.


"Your Majesty,isn't that Eleana over yonder on that hill?" Jacob
noted as they approached the top of the hill.


She had collapsed to the ground in tears; hurt by her sister's cruel
words."It is, let us offer her some help." The men approached Eleana, she looked
up to see who it was and quickly rose to her feet.


"Good morning You're majesty..." Eleana said weakly as she tried to hold back
tears."Eleana? What troubles you?" She looked away."I'm quite alright...really."


"My lady, I can sense something is troubling you.Is it your sister?" Her silence answered
his question."Let me escort you home Eleana, things will get better."


Edward escorted Eleana back to her farm, and bid her a goodnight.
Royal duties called.

"Any word on the darkspawn threat?" Edward asked Jacob, as they studied the map of Praaven.
"Only that the bulk of the horde will appear in Ostagar....that's where this blight ends." The king sighed
in frustration."Let's try not to cause panic.I'll throw a ball, until we know more." "Yes, sir"


"Eleana, I'm tired of you lollygagging around.I'll be going to a ball tonight,
I expect this lot to be in top notch condition when I return." Eleana annoyed, shouted back "
Why can't I go as well?" "You? You're a complete mess.I'm not going to be seen with you.Now get to work."


I don't think so Sarah.I'll go tonight whether you like it or not." Eleana rushed inside to get
to work on her dress.


"I hope this looks alright, Maiden.I haven't made a dress in such a long time."
Maiden neighed in approval of Eleana's outfit.


Eleana mounted Maiden and headed toward the capital of Praaven.
Admittedly she was a bit nervous about running into Sarah.But her anger
diminished any nervousness she had.


"This was a brilliant idea, your majesty.Everyone seems to be
enjoying themselves." "I'm glad to hear that." Edward said, looking
around the ballroom.


The ball had already started when Eleana entered the ballroom.She hesitated
a few minutes, as she looked around the room.Maybe no one will notice
She thought to herself...but someone had noticed her.

Part 2


She noticed the king looking in her direction, He began his approach.


"Good evening King Edward." Eleana said as she showed her manners.
"Please, my lady, stand." He said offering his hand to help her up."May
I beg a dance from you?" He asked.She agreed.


"I feel like we've met before." Edward noted her familiarness."I fear not, your majesty.
I don't get out often." Eleana responded."I also feel like we've had this same conversation."
"I'm afraid it must be someone else, your highness." "I suppose so." They continued their dance.


"This girl seems awfully familiar." Sarah said."She does doesn't she? But
I just can't put my finger on who she is." Claire added.


The bell tower chimed 11:45 PM."Oh, its quite late I must go home."
She broke free from his hold.:"Oh, please stay a little longer." The king said."I'm sorry, your
majesty.If I don't return home, I'm afraid I'll be in trouble.I'm sorry." She darted for the door.


Edward ran after Eleana who was already mounted on her horse."Let's go Maiden,
hurry." "Wait! come back! Don't go!"


Edward watched as she disappeared into the night.


"Follow her Jacob.See if you can find out who she is, or where she lives." "Yes your majesty."


Jacob was gaining on Eleana quickly."Hurry Maiden, we'll lose him in the mountains."
"My lady, please stop, by order of the king." "Keep going maiden."


Tired and exhausted; Maiden threw Eleana to the ground."Maiden!" The horse
took off, leaving Eleana alone with Jacob."Oh my lady, please allow me to help you."
She got up and darted for the river."My lady!"


gown and all she dove in, leaving Jacob on the edge of the shore.
"Oh maker." Is all the good knight could say.

"Jacob, you've returned, by chance did you follow the young lady? "I did Sire, but
I'm afraid its not much of lead.She decided to go for a swim and I couldn't follow her.
I'm afraid I know not where she went."


"You did your best Jacob...Another ball, perhaps she'll return.Let us set for
a week from tonight." "Yes sir."


The next morn,the King decided to take a ride through his kingdom in hopes
of spotting the young maiden from the ball.


Eleana was hard at work as usual, her sister was no where to be found.
"My poor plants, I've neglected you, haven't I?" She took extra care of
parsley plants.


"Morning Eleana, how are you?" "Good morning King Edward, I'm well.I hope all is well
with you and Jacob?" "As good as I can be.May I beg a question?" "Of course."


"The lady from the ball last evening, by chance would you know her?" "I'm afraid, I didn't
attend, King Edward...I had some chores to attend to for my sister." "Oh." He responded disappointed.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't be more help." "Its quite alright Eleana...how about a ride?" He suggested.Eleana's
behind was still sore from falling off her horse.But she felt obligated to say yes."Of course."


"You handle your horse well Eleana." "A little love goes a long way yes?" The king smiled.


Overlooking Praaven.

Edward sat on his throne, watching everyone dance and party...He was waiting
for the mysterious lady.He was about to give up hope when..


Eleana walked in, trying to keep an eye out for her sister.And
hoping no one would recognize her tonight.The King approached her.


"I wasn't sure if you were going to come tonight." King Edward said,
as he danced with this maiden."I wouldn't miss another ball with the King."
"I'm having this ball because of you, you know." She smiled."I'm honored, your majesty."


The King led Eleana out to the courtyard, for a more private setting.
They danced for hours until the clock chimed again.


"I'm afraid I must go." Eleana said."Please, not tonight, stay a little longer."
"I would love to, but I must return home.I'm sorry, your majesty.Please excuse me."
She darted for the door, with Edward behind her.


"Wait! At least tell me your name?" Eleana smiled."If you have to ask, you'll never know."
"I'm sorry, that doesn't make sense." He responded."Farewell, King Edward." She took off
for home.The king mounted Roi and made a dart after her himself.


"Hurry Maiden...he'll for sure recognize you." Eleana ushered her
horse to run faster.


"Down here Maiden...they won't spot us beneath the bush." Eleana
took refugee beneath the bush and shrubbery, hoping the King wouldn't spot
her.


"My thoughts exactly Roi, where is she? She just vanished." Roi neighed
trying to usher him toward the river, but the king didn't pick up on the hints.
"Let us return home."


"Good girl maiden, let's return home as well." Maiden neighed in disagreement,
but trotted on.

A third ball..This time Eleana decides not to use Maiden...She has heard everyone's
concern about him finally noticing the same horse.XD


"I've been waiting for you." Edward said, as he approached Eleana."I would think
after the way I run off, you wouldn't want me back here." He smiled."I'd never think that.Come,
we've not much time."




Maker, my sister is dancing with someone? Who would WANT that witch Eleana thought
as she curiously eyeballed Sarah."Something on your mind?" Edward asked."Oh, nothing..Just
thinking." "Come, let's go somewhere quiet."


They continued their dance under the moonlit courtyard.When the music came
to an end.Edward drew her close.


Until the clock struck midnight again, and she pulled away."I have to go.I'm sorry, farewell."
She ran through the courtyard....


"Maker! What is on these stairs...its so sticky." She could barely move
and had no choice but to take off her shoes...


"Eh well, I guess I could always make a new pair..." She heard the doors swing open
and took off, without maiden she had to run on foot, which wasn't very fast, she'd have
to find refugee in one of the ruined huts.


"Maker, not again..." Edward turned to head back inside and noticed her
shoes.."

"Someone said they heard a strange sound coming from the stalls." Jacob said."Probably one
of the horses Jacob." The king noted."The townsfolk were certain it wasn't a horse." "Well, man? Go
in and look."


"There was nothing in there, Your majesty." Edward sighed."It was most likely the horse...wait,
there's a sound coming from around the corner.Shh, follow me."


I hope no one spots me over here. Eleana thought to herself,
trying to stay out of sight.She had to spend the night in the barn,
as she wasn't able to escape on foot, being the innovative girl that she was,
she had stowed some spare clothing in a bag, and dressed in the morning.
Sadly, she lacked shoes now."Eleana?" Edward said as he approached the maiden.


"Oh, your majesty.Good day.How are you?" "Good morning, Eleana. I'm as good
as I can be.I didn't mean to startle you." "Its quite alright, I was just thinking."


The king looked down and noticed Eleana's lack of footwear."Eleana, where
are your shoes?" He asked curiously.


"That's a funny story....I lost them..." "Oh?" His interest was piqued."How so?"
"See, I was out riding maiden the other night...that's right, riding maiden, and She
threw me and I fell into a river, and my shoes got soaked.And they were beyond
repair, so I took them home and got rid of them." "Oh?" He said rather disappointingly.


"You've been wandering around town with no shoes? That's a little unsafe, don't you think?"
"Oh, I'm quite alright.I'm used to it."


"Eleana has no shoes." Jacob said."I know, Jacob." "Why? That is is so odd." "She
lost them while she was riding Maiden." "Oh...That's even more bizarre."


Eleana appeared out of the well, apparently she decided to go diving."My lady! You
startled me." Jacob exclaimed."I do apologize.I was just taking a swim." "In your clothing...?"
"Of course, this isn't the first time I've done it.And probably not my last." "What...What was that?"
Edward asked."Oh,nothing.Maiden is waiting for me, I fear my take my leave.Good day, your majesty.
Sir knight." "Good day, Eleana." Jacob said.

"Well, well well." Sarah said angerily as she approached Eleana."Look who is back.
is dancing a tiresome chore for you?" "What in maker's name are you going on about sarah?"
"Don't play dumb Eleana, I know you went to the balls and I know very well you're the one who
decided to to play princess for an evening...." "It is not true, and even it if it was...you don't control
me." "I just try to protect you Eleana, the world is a cruel and vicious place..." "The only thing vicious
about it, is you." Eleana turned to go inside.


"So I'm the bad guy now?" Sarah said, staring back at Eleana."Fine...then I'm the bad
guy." She made her way toward her sister.


"I'm here with the morning report, your highness." Jacob said."Go ahead." "First,
news from the north is the horde of darkspawn is making their way toward the ruins
of Ostagar...they're expected to be here by weeks end." "Maker's breathe."
"And as for the girl from the ball, no one has seen hide nor hare of her, however I think I may
know who she is, if you don't mind my input." "If its who I think you're suggestion, I thought the same."


"Isn't that Maiden, Eleana's horse right there?" Jacob said.Edward looked over his shoulder.
"It is!" They both turned toward the horse.


"She looks panicked." Jacob noted."She is, maiden calm down....wait, where's Eleana?
Is she in trouble?" The horse neighed anxiously."Where is she? Can you take me to her?"


Edward raced toward the outskirts of Praaven as fast as Maiden could go.


"Eleana? Eleana!" Edward shouted for her but there was no response.
He dismounted Maiden and ran toward the door.


"Eleana? Are you in there?" Edward was hesitant of entering Eleana's residence
without permission, but decided giving the circumstances, it would be okay.


He entered the dwelling and looked around...Eleana was no where
to be found....

"Let's see you find your way home from here." "The Korcari Wilds?" Eleana gasped.
"You can't leave me out here,its supposedly filled with those darkspawn and barbarians."
"Oh well...you're prime picking for them I suppose." "Sarah!"


"Maker's breathe! How do I get out of this one?" Eleana sighed as she
looked around the wilderness.


Her instinct was to run, and search for help.Surely, there had to be someone
somewhere.


She stumbled upon an old abbey, and called out, hoping its residents would help.
to no avail, nobody responded.


It would seem that the old lot was abandoned.Still it was better
than no shelter at all, she sought refugee in the building.

meanwhile...


King Edward rounded up his men to search for Eleana, they entered
the Korcari Wilds."If she's out here, she won't last long." Jacob said."Jacob! Don't
say that." Thomas shouted, being the nervous one he was, the very thought made him worry.
"Oh do man up Thomas." "Enough!" Edward shouted."Just help me look for her."


"Roi, it will take ages to find her out here...if she's here...Eleana..."


Many hours of searching, and they still found no signs of Eleana.
The horses and men were getting tired, they found a spot to make camp.

"We scoured every corner of the Korcari Wilds, Your highness.There's still no sign of her."
"Keep looking Jacob.She's here, I know she is, somewhere.." The King wasn't quite ready
to give up on his search just yet, but the men were weary and they settled in at camp for the evening.


His men had rationed enough food for a month, just in case, especially
with Thomas being so nervous.They were well prepared.

meanwhile at the abandoned abbey.


Eleana's clothes had become torn and dirty, she was exhausted from running
and was getting hungry."There has to be some food around here somewhere."


She found a small garden out back with some salvageable vegetables.
She plucked them off the vine and carried them into the kitchen.


Cabbage and tomato stew wasn't the best choice, but it was better than nothing.
She set the stew to cook.


She tried her hand at making homemade bread, and failed...again
better than nothing she thought.


"At least, there are beds..." However finding a bed that was not too hard
nor too soft proved to be a difficult task.


Sitting around camp, making their plans for tomorrow on where to
search for Eleana.

"I see you managed to find shelter...well I guess its time to take things
into my own hands." Sarah yelled as she raised her hands, and aimed toward
Eleana.


"I told you you were useless." Sarah scoffed and mocked Eleana."She is not!"
a voice rang out from behind her.


Sarah gasped."Oh, your majesty, forgive me for not hearing you come in.
If my sister has been a nuisance to you, I'm taking care of her right now."
"You will do no such thing Sarah, Eleana has been no trouble at all."

"Before you say "I must take my leave" Could you come with me for a moment?" Edward
asked."Of course, your majesty." He led Eleana into the throne room and asked to take a
seat."I have something that I believe may belong to you." Jacob approached with the shoes.
"I don't have the foggiest idea what you're talking about, King Edward." He smiled."We'll see."


He knelt before Eleana, gently sliding off her new shoe and placing her old one on...
perfect fit."Lost them in the river? They're awfully dry for being beneath water..." "I never said..."


The king approached Eleana, gently caressing her chin."It was you Eleana...wasn't it?" Her
eyes grew big."I understand...but you need not worry about her anymore Eleana, you don't
have to hide...or run for that matter." Eleana remained silent...The king took her hands, and
gently pulled her in..




Her face swelled with tears, he pulled her close and did his best
to comfort Eleana..

yet I see none?
Duncan: Bryce Cousland and his wife and children are dead, your majesty.
Arl Howe has showed himself a traitor, and has taken over Highever Castle.
If I hadn't escaped, he would have killed me as well, and told you any story
he'd wish.


King Edward: I can scarcely believe...How could he think he could get
away with such treason? As soon as we are done here, I will bring my army
North, and we will bring him to justice...of that you have my word.
Duncan: Your uncle sends you his regards, and says Redcliffe reinforcements
can be here with in days.
King Edward: Eamon just wants in on the glory.This battle should be over soon,
I'm not even sure its a true blight.
Duncan: Disappointed your majesty?
King Edward: I must admit, I was hoping for a battle like in the tales, a King
riding with the fabled Grey Wardens.But I suppose this will have to do.I must
go, Sir Jacob is waiting for me.


Duncan: Hello, I'm afraid we have yet met?
Eleana: My name is Eleana.Its a pleasure to meet you Duncan.
Duncan: Likewise, though I wish it were under better circumstances.Tell me,
do you know much about the grey wardens?
Eleana: I know you are a great order of heroes who stopped the second blight.Aside
from that, I fear not.
Duncan: Its quite alright, Have you ever considered joining the order?
Eleana: I don't know how I fare with a weapon, I'm afraid.I have never used a sword
or shield.
Duncan: You could learn.I sense your an honest and good person.We need more like
you in our group.Hope you'd consider it?
Eleana; I would...but I'm not sure how King Edward would feel on that.
Duncan: Oh? Why would he disapprove? Plenty of ladies in the gray wardens.
Eleana: Its a long story..
Duncan: I see...Well, join us tonight in the great hall.And we'll discuss it further.I
have some matters to attend to.Good day Eleana.
Eleana: Good day, Duncan.

Would you care to go for a ride with me?"


"I would love to go for a ride." She rested her head against him, relaxing.


"Oh maker!" Edward and Eleana approached the stalls to prepare the horses
for a ride, but Maiden and Roi had other ideas."What is your horse doing to my maiden!"
Eleana shouted."My horse? It was your cheeky maiden!" "Maiden is not cheeky! She's strong willed!."


Maiden: Excuse us, this is a private matter..

"Here we are,let us dismount here." The king beckoned Roi to stop.


'This is a lovely view, I assume you needed to speak with me? Eleana
said."Yes..." Edward thumbed at his fingers for a moment."Eleana, I brought
you here because this is the same place my father brought my mother."


Edward got down on one knee."It is also somewhere I know you won't
run from." He smiled up at Eleana."Oh you're so clever." She said rolling
her eyes sarcastically.


"I love you, not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you, not only for what you have made of yourself,
but for what you are making of me..Eleana will you marry me?" She smiled brightly at him."I would be honored to marry you."

"I'm sorry Mary, but I'm more than capable of dressing myself." "I understand,
but it is my job, m'lady.There all finished."


"You look beautiful m'lady." Mary said, finishing a few small touches.
"Thank you mary, you did a lovely job on the dress."


All heads lowered as Eleana made her way down the aisle.
She felt all their eyes watching her, as she made her way to
the King.


His eyes were certainly on Eleana the whole time.XD


She kneeled before the king.After a small prayer said by the minister
Edward placed the crown upon Eleana's head.


Edward: Lord help us to remember when
We first met and the strong
love that grew between us.
Eleana:To work that love into
practical things so that nothing
can divide us.
Edward: We ask for words both kind
and loving and hearts always
ready to ask forgiveness
as well as to forgive.
Both: Dear Lord, we put our
marriage into your hands.

Duncan: Never you fear, sire.While we need all the recruits we can get, I have no intentions
on forcing the matter.
Eleana: And why shouldn't I join them? You speak so highly of them.
Edward: Excuse us for a moment Duncan.


Edward: Have you already spoke to him about this? Without speaking to me?
Eleana: Briefly when you walked away...He brought it up not I.But I'm more than willing
to help.
Edward: Eleana, no.Your place is here, not off with the grey wardens.


Edward: "I'm sorry Duncan, but she won't be joining the Grey Wardens.
Duncan: I understand and respect your wishes, but shall we discuss our plans

Eleana really wanted to join the Grey Wardens, and is upset about
the decision made for her.

"Good morning, Have you seen Eleana nearby?" "I did, sire.She was riding maiden, just
over yonder past the old mill." "Thank you m'lady."


"Maker's breathe, its like a wood stove out here....Swim would be nice, come
maiden."


Eleana removed her gown down to the brown corset underneath."This looks like a good spot."
"Are we having fun Eleana?" She turned find Edward and Roi behind her."What are you both doing here?"
"The same to you.Put your clothes back on and let's go home."


She walked over to a small lizard, pretending not to hear her husband."Eleana..."


"IF we're done looking at lizards, I must really get back to Duncan...And your coming
with me, now lets go." "You have to catch me first." Eleana darted back toward Maiden, and quickly
threw her clothes on.


"Maker's breathe...I'm getting too old for this.Come on Roi, we should be used to this by now."
Roi neighed: I don't mind, I have a lovely view back here.XD


Maiden decided to throw Eleana off her back, tired of the antics of running.
"Oww, maiden!"


"Eleana!" Edward ran to her side."I'm fine...Its not the first time." She
responded."So I've been told.Come on let's get you up."


"Well, you caught me...I'll come peacefully." "Well, I'd prefer if you came willingly.."
