Does magical bloodline make a Sim "Delicious" to Vamps?

For those with more experience in RoM than I have...

I have a Sim with Ancient Bloodline but otherwise hasn't studied magic and doesn't know about the bloodline, either, for that matter, who has that delicious blood vamps so adore.

Are the two connected, or is it coincidence?

I don't think they're connected. My vampires found plenty of sims delicious long before RoM was even released.

Thanks for letting me know. I can still work it into the story but at least I know it's coincidence, so there's a choice in the matter.
