I've been confused about the Sim limit ever since it was added to the game. I set it to unlimited, because I have lots of Sims in my main save, but the last time I loaded the save, it took forever and I just switched my laptop off. Does the game cull Sims who are not favourited (even if they live in homes)? If I prevent culling through MCCC, does it override the game's Sim limit? I would like to set my game to say, 350-400 Sims and stop more Sims from generating so my game runs faster. I also want to keep ghosts in my legacy family tree, but I don't know how many Sims will generate through the generations (I'm guessing a lot). I just don't know how MCCC and the game's Sim limit works together.
