How is heterochromia still pets-only?

Wouldn’t it be cool if sims could have different coloured eyes too? I think it’s unfair for simmers like me to feel left out when this feature has been applied in game so often but only to pets.

I can’t find any CC that would be fully compatible either.

Edited since I’m no longer in a ranty state of mind about it.

there aren't any IRL medical conditions in game, not even for pets.

Also, this is in the wrong section...

It’s not a medical condition, it’s a facial feature of having two different coloured eyes which has been a pets feature since at least sims 3. Sorry just realised there are two feedback forums! @nerdfashion

Oh, whoops. I was worried I would be wrong about something! And yes, sims (and not just their pets) should be able to have different colored eyes. I think it actually looks really cool, I'd love to make a sim with two different shades of blue eyes, or something like that.

I have never heard of that for IRL people, so it must not be a common phenomenon. That might be why it is just not a included. There are other things not included, like a lighter skin tone with a blue undertone.

I think it would be cool to have. I’m lucky enough that my fave CC eyes have add-ons for that, but if it got added officially i could save the space :p

But there are people who have this condition just as much as animals. It doesn't make sense that they can acknowledge it for the pets but not add it for the human Sims. The only reason I think for it is cuz then they would have to reprogram the whole eye color system for human Sims and that will be more work. So they're not gonna do that.

It is a very rare "mutation" of the eye color. It's very popular on tumblr because it looks "cool" I guess. Never the less it wouldn't hurt to have the option, especially when the sims team is always bragging about how diverse they want sims to be. Still no body hair either though.

My nephew's eyes are like that! He gets a lot of random attention for it. There are mods for heterochromia... I downloaded some from the sims resource page by a creator named Praline. While Sims is a fun game, it'd be nothing without the tremendous number of mods I have installed, haha!

I’m so glad I’m not alone in thinking like this! I realise that it’s rare, especially to have it complete like me rather than partial, but it was a bit of a kick in the teeth to see them do it for pets again but not give it to humans.
I’ll have a look for mods and CC thanks @MochiMomma
