Moved Household to New Game and Lost University Status

I saved the Sim, etc. Loaded older game to place Sim there and she has no University experience now. Have to start over. I haven't played Sims from previous games in a new game and wasn't aware of the fact they lose careers, etc. (Knew about lost relationships.) Ugh.

Oh, that's good to know! So sorry you have to start over. I have restarted my entire family over to hopefully get all four teens (once they've been aged up to YA) back into the same uni, same dorm and all graduated. I was experimenting with a new mod, which I loved, but certain aspects of it went wonky and there was no way to resolve the tragedy. Their sister was lost. In getting her back into the game, my UI became lost, too, rendering that game save unplayable. The game is all fixed and working again. Needless to say I have removed the mod, but I confess I do miss that impending sense of disaster all the same. So, it's back to the drawing board for me.

I hope your second go-around works out well. Don't be too surprised when it doesn't play out the same as before. I won't go into the details here, but once I had such a game going …
