Hi everybody! I not-so-recently bought Lucky Palms, but I haven't really had a chance to play in it other than a quick glance around at the layout. I decided to finally play, so I
stole borrowed a Sunlit Tides townie that I had saved to the bin for future use and plunked him right in (after changing all of his traits to fit my needs, of course). If you're looking for an ultra dramatic storyline or anything, this ain't it, more just me having fun with his save file and exploring around.
This is Reshay Womack, from a small island just off Sunlit Tides. He's an Unflirty, Shy, Athletic, Irresistible guy who Loves the Heat.
Reshay was scouted by the Lucky Palms' Llamas, and has moved into one of the owner's spare rental properties in town to try to make the team. It should go without saying that his lifetime want is to be a Superstar Athlete.
The first thing I had him do once he arrived at his new place was check in at the stadium to make sure everything was okay with his employment. Just because he was scouted didn't mean he got to be on the team without working for it, so the owner was letting him work at the stadium to help cover costs. It only pays $13 an hour though, so here's hoping promotions come fast.
Since Reshay doesn't have to work until tomorrow afternoon, I sent him to the pool in hope of working on his athletic skill and/or meeting new sims. What's that? He looks super uncomfortable? Well...
Apparently swimsuits are optional here in Lucky Palms. There were three hot tubs on the lot, each with at least one sim sans swimwear. This townie seems to like it more than Reshay does.
On the plus side, he did meet one new friend. This is Darleen Matlaplin, who
couldn't skinny dip because all the hot tubs were full at this point is a nice girl who has clothes on. Reshay found out that she's Charismatic and Childish.
Unfortunately their convo was cut short by Darleen's overwhelming desire to show her opinion on the sims around her, which under normal circumstances I would say is not very body positive of her but I'll give her a pass considering the tacos a la hot dog parade that is the public pool today.
I sent Reshay home to work out in the comfort of his living room. Eventually, he needed some sort of dinner, so I let him make some mac and cheese. He didn't even burn it, which is impressive for someone with zero cooking skills points.
It was pretty early, but I wanted to send him out exploring again in the morning before work (just not to the pool). Here he is dreaming about being a star, having had a very exciting first day
of existence in Lucky Palms
