My Sim is stuck in a University Moveout event (loop)

I have a sim who was enrolled in Brightchester and got accepted into Foxbury Institute for a Distinguished Degree program, at the end of her second term I had my sim not enroll in more Brightchester classes and I used the testing cheats to enroll them into Foxbury. The problem is that my sim was off campus when this happened and now she can't move out. She's stuck in her old dorm, and has classes in a few hours. I'm worried that they won't be able to get to classes. I've tried letting the event expire, and manually quitting it. I think I triggered a loop.

Hi, this happened to my sim as well. She was living on campus but when I tried to change her accommodation back to "at home", she ended up stuck in the "picking up" event forever.
