I had to restart my story as I had game issues.

GraceyManor

Catarina woke up early the next morning, as promised she vacated the shop and wouldn't use it as a shelter.
But now she had to find somewhere else to sleep.


Her best friend Daffy worked at the local comic bookstore.Perhaps she could be of assistance? Catarina peered into the window; making
sure the owner was no where to be seen.


"Catarina, really? Again? You need to get your life straightened out." Catarina gave Daffy that "woe is me" look."Oh no.Don't give me that look Cat." Catarina battered her eyes."Fine, you can sleep here TONIGHT and TONIGHT ONLY.If My boss finds out, I'll be fired." "Thanks Daf, you're the best." "And don't you forget it."

Few hours later...


"Cat, a customer complained about you loafing around on the couch.My boss wants you to vacate the property.His words; not mine."
"I understand.I'll leave." "I'm sorry.You should go home? Your family is there." "Forget it, I'm not going back there."


Back out into the bitter cold she went.By noon, the rain was pouring down; she was exhausted, fatigued and hungry.
But she managed to keep trucking on.


She figured the park would be a place to go.There were a few homeless folk already there; nobody would
pay attention to her there.She grabbed her self some cold fries.Her mother would kill her, and so would the doctor.
"Pas sain! Pas sain du tout!(not healthy! not healthy at all!) they would shout at her."What mamae doesn't know, won't hurt."


"Well, this is moderately unsatisfying." She tossed the container in the bin and decided to make camp.
"This looks as good as any other spot."

She rolled out her sleeping bag and laid down.Another night in the cold bitter air.

The only little bit of life left in Catarina was her "job" at the pet store, if you could call it that.She basically worked there
to repair her debt for staying there.Running late as always, she had to change in the port-a -potty at the fall festival.
"He's gonna fire me.I know it."


Fortunate for Catarina the owner wasn't there yet.She got to work right away.What he doesn't know, won't hurt right?


"What is that guy doing out there?" Catarina peered out the window; spying on a gentleman looking up at the
sky.


"What are you looking at?" Catarina asked."Oh lord, where did you come from?" the young man was taken back."From inside the shop.When people are snooping around and trespassing, its sort of my job." "Trespassing? I was just looking at the bird up there." He pointed up.Catarina looked up toward the sky, when the bird decided to go to the bathroom...right on her face.
"Ugh." "I think the bird went number two on you..." "You think? I gotta go clean poo off my face." She ran inside straight for the powder room.


"Things just keep getting better....this is so gross." She scrubbed the crud off her face; dried her hands and walked back
the front.


"What are you doing in here?" Catarina exclaimed."I just wanted to make sure your eye is okay." "As good as
its going to be when a bird lets its waste out on your face.." "Yeah, sorry about that.Would you like to take a stroll with me?"
"Why?" Catarina asked suspiciously."Why not?" "Well, let's see." She began...."You're not my type." "And you're not mine.Glad we settled that.
Wanna take a walk?"


Catarina shoved the young man out the door."You're weird,go shoo! get away.You're creepy." He turned around and asked "So that's a no?"
"It's a no.ta-ta" and she closed the door.

"Sorry! in a rush." Catarina said as she bumped into another person.


"You!" She shouted! "And its you to." the young man responded."Are you following me? Stop it!" Catarina shouted.
"I was making a delivery...and by coincidence you just happened to be here..." He responded.She looked him over cautiously.
"Let's go for that stroll." "What no? I don't know you..." She snapped back."I'm Tom." "Uh, Catarina." "Great, now you know me.Come with me."


He lead her down a dark ally, that was barely lit."Uh, has anyone told you, you're almost killer like?"
"No...no one's ever told me that." "Uh-huh."


"Here we are...I like to come here to destress.You seem tense." "Right, so you make judgements on people
you don't know....Well I appreciate the criticism." "Would you just come inside."


"Why are you always by yourself?" Catarina shrugged."I currently don't have a home...or a home I can go to."
"What about coming here to the shelter?" Catarina laughed."Are you serious?" "Hey, I volunteer here." She laughed even
harder."Your not joking...your serious.." She gasped."I would rather take my chances back "home." "Well....then go home?"
"You know what...I might just do that...if it will get me away from you...Thanks..."


"I enjoyed our stroll, Catarina.We should do it again." Catarina yelled back; "NOT MY TYPE!" as she ran out.
"Suit yourself then."


"Mom! Open the door." Catarina knocked loudly."Mamae! Mamae! Oh come on now please?"


"Espèce idiote, idiote, où étais-tu?(you silly silly girl, where have you been?") Her mother started lecturing in french."Mamae, please.Its 2:30 in the morning, don't lecture me.I just want to go to bed." "That's right Catarina, get out of those wet clothes...tomorrow we see your doctor." "Ugh"

"This is the last place I'd expect to see you." Tom said as he sat beside Catarina.
"Believe me, I don't wanna be here.I was forced to "go out" as I'm "spending too much time" at
home.He laughed."Not possible, every time I see you, you're wandering about.Come on."
"Uh-uh.You aren't roping me into this festival." "Would you just try to have fun?"


She attempted the haunted house.


"That was beyond cheesy." She said."Then why did you grab on to me in that last room."
"I did not!" "Whatever you say, Cat.Let's go."


"Are you eating rain drops?" "Yeah, you got a problem with that?"
"No...but I didn't picture you as playful." She rolled her eyes."Just get the dang apples
would you?"


"I can't believe I'm gutting a pumpking..bleh..." "Oh admit it, you're having fun."
"No, this just reminds me of Jake..." "Oh...I see, I think I get it now.Ex huh?" "Yeah...
it ended badly.I'll leave it at that." "I'm sorry...I know how you feel though, I've been there."
"Huh..." Catarina sighed." "What?" "I just can't picture YOU having relationship troubles."
Tom laughed."Why?" "Cause you're so...outgoing..." He laughed."I think that gets me into trouble.

Flyod: She's killing a pumpkin! Why?!! What did that pumpkin do to you? XD


"Need help?" Tom offered; "No! I wanna do this." "I knew it..."
"Knew what?" "You're having fun." "I am not! I'm just determined to finish this
darn pumpkin."

Catarina's dog managed to escape, she had to go running through the park to find him.
"Flyod! you get your fluffy tail back here...Oh mother's gonna kill me."


"Aren't you Catarina's dog? Is she here?"
Flyod barked excitedly, turned around a few times and ran back.(Apparently there's an option for your dog to "fetch" a date for you.XD)


"Flyod? Oh please come out...I'm a dead duck.Floyd!!"


"Is this who you're looking for?" She whipped around to find Tom standing behind her.
"You found my dog! Thanks." "More like he found me." "Oh...sorry, he does that often."
"Its fine."


"You look really nice Catarina." "Uh...thanks" Catarina mumbled as
she stepped back.


"I can see you need lessons on accepting compliments." He commented; noticing
her hesitation.She rolled her eyes; "And I can see you need lessons on not standing so
close to people." He laughed."Touche."

Catarina received a phone call from her mother's job.Her mother wasn't feeling well.
When Catarina arrived, her mother had passed away.


Her sister was out of town on a business trip.Catarina spent the next
few days on the couch.


"Catarina? I'm getting worried...I haven't heard from you in a few days."
She refused to answer the door.


(Whispers): Please, I just want to be alone.


When Deanna came home, they held a small memorial service for Julia.
Both girls paid their respects to their mother.


It was the first time in a long time that either girl embraced each other.
They've been fighting for so long, they had drifted apart.


The next morning Catarina went to the park to have some alone time.
"There you are, been trying to get in touch...Are you okay?"


"My mother died last week.." She weakly said..."Oh, maker.I'm sorry Catarina.
Is there anything I can do?" She shook her head.


"I'm here if you need me Catarina...let me be a friend." She smiled "Thanks.I appreciate it."


"Any time Catarina."
