Something New (Theme Parks, Farms, Hobbies, etc.)
Personally, I want an Elders game pack on par with Parenthood. I seriously think Elders have been getting no love for years at this point, the last thing that was just for them and only them coming when they got canes in Sims 3: Generations. I would love to see those in their golden years get some changes.

    Occults (Werewolves, Fairies, Zombies, etc.)
The game feels incomplete without werewolves and faeries. We already have 2/4 occults from the Sims 3 Supernatural. If they already gave us half as game packs, I hope they at least make game packs for the last two as well.

I'd also love to see Generations content, but I care the most about occult.

Vacations (Ancient Egypt, China, France, etc.)
I feel like we don't have enough vacation destinations for our Sims at the moment. I hope they add a European, possibly French style world as I really liked Champs les Sims. I remember in TS2, vacations were really enjoyable as we had a good choice of places to pick from. It would be nice if it had some sort of hotel lot, where your Sims can stay in a room, and there would be a restaurant etc. like TS2. However it will be interesting to see what they do this year, as most of the usual packs i.e. pets, seasons and university have been made.

We have a LOT of down-to-Earth, slice-of-life content right now, but we're still pretty skimpy on magical/sci-fi elements. I'm still waiting on werewolves (which should have been RIGHT AFTER FRIKIN' VAMPIRES, mind you), and there are people waiting on fairies, genies, imaginary friends, mutants/superheroes, some better outer space content (I'd personally love a pack that allows me to upgrade my rocket into a starship that I can actually play inside and set up however I like--steampunk, "used future" [like Firefly], atom punk, bamboo technology, bio-ship, etc.), occults from somewhere other than Europe and the Middle East, and improved plant sims too.

Look, I get it, I like Stardew Valley and all, but I THINK that things like farming and theme parks and other more down-to-Earth things can hang back for a release or two to add some more supernatural and sci-fi stuff for those of us who enjoy it...Especially werewolves. That should be the NEXT FREAKING GP. PERIOD. I'm so tired of the mass media treating werewolves like crap...

No. We had one sci-fi and one fantasy theme. However, we are still missing a LOT of more fantastical elements. Meanwhile, out of the entire line of GP's, EP's, and SP's, we have had 17 pure Slice-of-Life packs, 3 pure Fantasy/Sci-Fi packs, and 4 packs that are mainly Slice-of-Life with some mild Fantasy/Sci-Fi elements. So, yes, If we only get two GP's in 2020, I don't think it's unreasonable for at least ONE of them to have a sci-fi or fantasy theme, because supernatural play is SEVERELY neglected next to the normal slice-of-life stuff. What it's like for supernatural simmers right now is what it would feel like for slice-of-lifers if nearly every addition to the game since launch had been centered around magic, aliens, and mad science, while the only things added for more realistic daily life had been pools, Toddlers, pets, and dish washers. It's just as maddening as that.

There needs to be a better balance in the types of content available. Three GP's and a cameo presence in 4 packs is not enough supernatural content. It certainly wouldn't be for slice-of-life gameplay. What makes you think it's enough for supernatural players?

I don't have a problem with Supernatural play, but it seems like 2019 was very extravagant, and bold, with StrangerVille, Moschino, Magic, University, so I want 2020 to be chill, with Farming, knitting is happening I guess (but I'd prefer Happy Haunts tbh), maybe roller coasters, salons, but I'd be fine with wearwolves (although I don't think they'd make a whole pack) or a space pack.

Honestly, I don't feel like 2019's offerings were all that extravagant. The thing that I could call the closest to extravagant is Strangerville, and that's only because of the lightly-scripted quest. Everything else just feels like a normal release. In fact, the default magic HQ in ROM is a pretty meh set, and there is very limited interactivity with the world itself (the overall world design is cool to look at, but when you break it down, it's just one rather plain magic school, a few stalls for buying stuff, a dueling arena, no residential lots, and a greenhouse with nothing to interact with inside...kind of boring to hang out there or explore after a few visits unless you're in full RP mode with your sim ditching high school every day to study with the sages...). IL, pretty generic tropical paradise to play about in. University, not all that extravagant when you realize that in TS2, the expansion came with 3 pre-built schools AND the ability to make your own. Moschino...not that impressive unless you're really into photography and wanted to see the skill expanded further.

All in all, I feel like TS4 has actually been really light on really exciting pack releases. Then again, I guess I may be biased, since I grew up in the city, so living in the city isn't all that exciting; my own experience with college has killed my ability to buy into the mass media's romanticized version of it; growing up in a state where I had easy access to the beach means most of my association with beach-side recreation is sand in and on everything, greedy seagulls trying to eat your funnel cake, and that one terrifyingly gross stall I saw in a bathroom at the beach (really, for those of you who have never been to the ocean...it's highly overrated); and hearing too many stories of people who got famous and ended up either dead or in rehab and massive amounts of YouTuber downfall drama has taken all of the glitter off of stardom for me.

All of them! Egyptian theme would be pretty neat but could resemble jungle adventure and it’s artifact gameplay. Something new always gives a game more life, but I feel with all the articles about the mysterious expansion containing the quotes about twist and turns I’m thinking it could be a hint for amusement park which would be sweet or just simple marketing talk to get people involved and excited. Business and career we need firemen back and burglary it just plays into what we already have. Set them up with the career and have them actually be visibly performing acts randomly at households. Occult’s always welcomed.

It would be cool if we got a royalty pack. Ball gowns for the whole family, soldier uniforms, suits with medals and sashes on them, crowns and tiaras. I’m thinking have one royal family and one lot for a whole castle and you can kind of work your way up a social standing to get close with the royal family through aristocracy and stuff, and the only way to live in the castle is to marry in. Tutors can be hired for the kids, NPC’s live and work in the castle, royal interactions like “gush about royal couple/baby/wedding/family” stuff, handle random political issues and it changes your approval rating with the people (the less happy they are the more they riot outside the castle), stuff like that. We could add thrones and turrets and royal flags and towers, spiral staircases, it would be really cool for a game pack or even an expansion pack

We definitely need more occult life-states. I love playing as ordinary, everyday sims. But I need to occults to spice up the world! (and hopefully not take over it...I'm looking at you Spellcasters...)

Im thinking about getting RoM next... what do you mean with spellcasters taking over the world? I wish that i could also have regular households without anything supernatural...

I really want werewolves. I don't really miss zombies, they were so annoying in sims 3. The other options would be cool too.

I would like Fairies, please. They have been my favorite since Sims 3, but I think Werewolves are more popular. It's a shame we can't just have both in one big fabulous occult pack, make it an EP if they need to and they could expand Witches and Vampires while they are at it.

I know, I know, it isn't how they work. We have to pick just one, but why is that? They should be able to give us properly working Fairies and also Werewolves. Heck, all Fairies really need are wings and a bit of animation for when they shift, they could even use the Vampire bat animation, change it to a cute little fairy with white glitter instead of smoke, we already have the while glitter from the celebrities... but we would need some fairy based aspiration and traits, and of course we need a little fairy house too, like we had in Sims 3. Oh I know, it is probably too much, but I miss Fairies so bad. :'(

I would also like a theme park vacation pack as an EP. With working hotels, and a working theme park. Roller coasters, merry go rounds, games of chance, maybe a ride you can create that is one of those track rides (like Mr. Todd's wild ride), but you can use various themes, spooky, pirates, or outer space and each sims reaction to it would depend how interesting the ride you create is, as well as their traits. That would certainly be interesting, I think. It would make using the gallery interesting again too, since you might want to try other players ride creations to see how your sims respond to it... oh goodness, I am probably asking for too much.

They could also go water theme with proper water rides, like a giant water slide that Sims climb a bunch of stairs to slide down. A wave pool that many sims can use at one. Also that ride where you just lay around on inner tubes and drift around a big circle of water... lazy river I think it is called, or maybe I got that from Roller Coaster Tycoon? Oh, maybe a log ride too. Yep, once again I ask for too much.

And of course, I want a casino, or even a Las Vegas type world, like Lucky Palms was. Working Slot machines, and table games, this could also be where we get the roller coaster.

I just came from stuff packs thread posting my idea but I realised its more like a game pack. So I'm posting it here. My bad to anyone who read my idea twice.

Do you feel like your fitness sims lead long lives only to never dabble in fitness again?? Do you feel their restlessness spilling into their every day actions as they yearn for a healthy place to unleash this torrent of energy?

Introducing the Sims in Motion pack a vehicle themed game pack!

This pack features a brand new neighborhood with 3 64x64 lots that sims can visit to experience some EXTREME SPORTS!
    Lot 1: Race track
    Lot 2: Bumpy Mountain track.
    Lot 3: Horse track

Lot 1: Bring your sims to the race track and compete with other sims for the F1 Grand Prix title! Or just go build/buy mode and make it a dirt/street race! Not a fan of cars? Come for a bike race instead. Fit, focused sims have a better chance at winning.
Lot 2: Marathons and street racing are for JUNIORS. Bring your sims to the mountainous range instead, where you test your true fitness with the nerve crushing 4WD experience into the jungle! You can also opt for mountain biking/hiking if you want creepy crawlies directly on your skin. Warning: Not for squeamish sims and may experience nausea.
Lot 3: Come to SimDerby and test your skills as a jockey! Only true animal lovers and fit sims can master both beast and land! Need max pet training for best results. Disclaimer: SimDerby treats their horses well and under no circumstance do we not pamper our horses during and after a long hard career of racing. Swing by the stables to give our horses additional love and treats. (P.s - you can't take them home because this isn't a pet stuff pack)

Lol I had fun writing this. :D (Actually, I just want to watch my sims drive cars so bad. This whole focus on racing is just a convenient excuse to have functional roads in game.)

@ Wallsisms4ever, I absolutely agree, especially with Bands and Farms! :) However I think Farms should be an Expansion pack, not game.

I unironically want a front yard stuff pack. It would come with a rideable lawn mower and and interactble water hose. Raking leaves isnt enough for me and my outside chores!

I feel the EA team should really try something that has never been done in the Sims franchise, ever. Yet, a pack similar to FreeTime, or even a farming pack (which we have never gotten a full pack dedicated to it--horses came in TS3: Pets, and some other farming aspects came in a collection from a Store item) are good ideas.

I feel cars could be implmented in a way similar to TS2, but how would it be packaged? And with what?

It's actually a really close tie between vacations and hobbies. I do think they need more hobbies. Destinations that would be better suited for young families - or they could add a Butlins neigbourhood to Granite Falls (in a patch).

I have been talking about a carnival or fair pack for quite some time now. I would love it! I'd also love a cruise pack too, but I understand that would be more difficult for them to do. I'd love to ride around in the ocean and watch the sunset on the deck of a massive ship.
