I hope it is something fun and not just a few logo tees and that accessibility feature!

It may be the new transportation option added to buy build.

I think I know what the final surprise is judging from this article right here that reminded me: https://simscommunity.info/2019/11/11/the-sims-4-to-require-64bit-operating-systems-with-discover-university/

I think it's having to do with the announcement of that Legacy Edition they were talking about months ago but they delayed it until now as a 'surprise'. Idk why you would announce this now of all places and never inform anyone that you already switched the minimum specs of packs to requiring 64-bit for DU and most likely for all packs going forward. So if you still run a 32-bit system and already preordered, you're out of luck.

    Swimming in all world's?

I wonder will they open all apartments up when visiting neighbors without having loading screens ?
or given an option to do so if you can turn an apt building into dorms?
    or
you can now have apts in other worlds?

The Maxis Monthly is Tuesday. There is something coming in the Update that has them excited. I'm wondering if it could be the oceans and lakes in all the worlds being swimmable because Britechester is coming with a swimmable lake. Prehaps it's bikes.

Frost has said that what isn't coming is cars and updated babies. Those are ruled out.

I like this guess! I was pleasantly surprised by the annoucement of the swimmable areas in the new world and it would be nice if that was expanded upon. I am trying not to expect anything too big and this kind of feature feels just about right.

We already know what the update for builders is, we got the draggable columns.

But what is the accessiblity feature? And that other thing has me very curious too...

the accessibility is something about making the UI bigger or something to make. Easier to see.
I’m sure the bed assignment is coming, where you can choose a side on the bigger beds. Also probably locking laptops to a specific sim

    Swimming in all world's?

The gurus said right after Island Living was released they'd see if they could get swimming in the other worlds in the future. Shortly after a patch the prior month sims could wade from foot deep to even up to thier hip in some lakes. Well the wading in other worlds was removed after a month so they were testing. Brite Chester is the first world after Sulani to come with swimmable lakes. This is why a lot of simmers think we may see swimming in other worlds in the update plus on top of that only 64 bit will work for TS4 after Tomorrow's Update. Now that they don't have to hold stuff back for 32 bit players they could make the worlds better.

It will be ok. My brother (working as IT specialist) look on minimal spec and say me, it will be ok. Because minimal specs of TS4 was at basic game for processor with 64-b system! You could never run a game on processor for only 32-b. This is just a problem in the operating system. And if you have Windows, you can only reinstal system! It is nothing difficult!

I mean I want that feature (sorta) but there's like 1000 other things I want instead.

I'm one of the people who would love to have the option to swim in other worlds other then Sulani. You can imagine I"m happy to be getting that in Brite Chester and our mermaids will have more worlds to swim in.

If we get swimming in all worlds, I'm totally making a mermaid family and moving them to icebox central, er, Brindleton Bay.

Yes, I've been binging Siren on Hulu, why do you ask?

If the picture is a hint, my first instincts say something sports related, or some kind of failure or flaw on the Sim's part. Like, is he clumsy? Were some traits revamped? Is it some new traits? Or just a new sport?

Gonna drive me a little crazy until I know.

That would be amazing if a trait update happened like that was a new fall linked to the clumsy trait. We got a patch what once in 5 years for traits not really even a fix but just adding in Jealous and Klepto mentioning they wanted to improve them way back then and yet still nothing.
Sims 4 went from "You Rule" to "One of the stories we want you to tell"

@SimGuruNinja has pretty much confirmed that this isn't coming with the pack so what could this be?

I reckon it's definitely swimming in all worlds - the guy in the pic looks like it's a glitched swimming animation?

Clearly he's trying (and failing) to do the Worm dance! :D

Perhaps he is actually swimming - but it's a funny glitch as he forgot to find the waters first? :)

Let's think realistically. It'll probably be one of three things:
    1. Bikes in the base game
    2. Swimmable oceans for other worlds
    3. The new beds/laptops system shown in the livestream

Just now, I’m hoping it’s not just for people going to Uni.

They did say it's something we asked for, so I'm guessing either swimming in all worlds, traits overhaul or injuries/disabilities. I can't really guess what the picture's about though.

OR this is a sim who fell while riding a horse.

Oooh, injuries didn't cross my mind but DU does have the arm bandages so that'd be interesting.

Wait, arm bandages? Where? Are you meaning the exo-arm attachments that help with robotics?

I believe I saw them in CAS from a Sims Camp Video. Can't remember who by.
