BB - October 2019 is a lovely home for the challenge! @Ayeffen You have reflected the blueprint very well! Very lovely garden pathway with the plants either sides, leading to the fountain and gardening boxes area! Very nice furnishing of the interior! It looks very nice and warming for a family. The leafy wall pattern on the living room wall adds a special look to the room, and the wall tiling in the bathroom is very nice. Very nice colour schemes and furnishing of the bedrooms.
Brick Ranch is a very nice family home! @Taoron Very nice exterior, and the brick texture looks great! The interior furnishings are lovely! I have posted about your home on your showcase thread.
I love building from blueprints! This first design though is HUGE compared to what I normally like to build for my Sims. They usually only have one, maaaybe two bedrooms at most. However, it is only one story, which I like. Could be a fun challenge and I love challenges... hmm
Might give this a try. I like the entries submitted so far, good job y'all!
I LOVE this!! I hope to be able to enter for November but if not I will wait for the next challenge I am not a great builder so I do like to base mine off of blueprints typically. Thanks for posting!

Went for what I think is a nice warm looking home, not too cluttered but feels lived in, in my mind I see a family with a teenage boy and younger girl living here, didn't landscape the garden as I am rubbish at that and didn't want to spoil my lot! First time I've done any thing like this but had a good time giving it a go.
Blueprint build Nov 2019 is a very lovely family home! @Cheekyimp You have reflected the blueprint very well! Very lovely furnishing of the interior! The brown and green colour scheme is lovely, warm and homely. Very nice living room area with the brick textures fireplace and tv wall and bookcases either sides. It is a great place for the family to come together and watch tv near the fire as they sit on the sofa and armchairs. Very nice furnishing, blue, brown and pink colors and design of the bedrooms! The girls bedroom with the butterflies, pretty wall decor, and circles rugs is lovely! The cat is cute! Very trellis covered outdoors dining patio to enjoy eating outdoors in the air.
It is a very nice family home
Just popping by Great homes so far, I will comment more later.
@AlJay a couple of questions, can we change a room such as the WIC as to me I would rather make it some other useful room? Also can the main bedroom be for the kids? as it is so large.
The walls were challenging! I tried a few different things before I settled on a traditional/rustic/beach build. I imagine someone who is building off a blueprint but wants some individuality and charm so they opted to use lots of reclaimed materials.
This New Old House - BB1 is a lovely family home! @wendyology You have reflected the blueprint well! Very pretty flowers in the outdoors areas! Very nice furnishing of the interior! It looks very warm and the wooden of the living area furnishings and wall paneling is calming and homely. Very nice design of the kitchen, with double sinks and a round island workbench counter. Very lovely soft and calming colour schemes of the bedrooms. The softly patterned wallpaper and the wall paneling is very nice. It is a great last photo to end the slideshow with the porthole view of the laundry from the dryer.

This is really kinda interesting because of how different they've turned out despite us all working to the same plans!
@Cheekyimp I love the earthy textures you have in the living space, and the BBQ patio area on the rear terrace.
@wendyology I love the softness and the touches of antique french decoration that your build has. I can see it sitting in the French countryside somewhere among the stone buildings and lavender fields.
P.s. the port-hole view from inside the dryer made me lol!
Well, IDK if this is any good, because I decided to make it harder for myself. I tried to do a modern home (not my usual build style--lol)

Additional Notes: This is a mid-century modern home. I imagine the sims entertaining their friends here. One can cook a meal for all their sim friends in the spacious kitchen, have a drink after and watch a movie or play a game. I tried not to clutter the place up much (so you can add your own sims' stuff) and it has been playtested. Showing pics, though had some difficulty angling with the height of the walls, so they may not be the best this time. https://i.imgur.com/8CyztFm.png
Other pics in the slideshow link. Thanks for the challenge (and starting point as well), @AlJay .
Don't anger the fruit. It may make her toot (at you).
BlueprintBuild-NovChal is a lovely mid century modern family home! @PearLady Very nice exterior wall textures, and the planterbox window is pretty. The outdoors dining patio is very nice. Very nice greenery topped roofing.Very nice furnishing and colour scheme of the interior! The brick texture of the living areas a nice warm feel. Very nice fireplace living room area! The family will enjoy sitting there chatting near the fire, keeping warm, and the sunflowers are a sunny touch. Sims will have fun playing console games there. The grey, black, and white colour scheme of the kitchen looks very nice. Very nice design of the bedrooms and the walk in closet is lovely! The clothes and shoes racks look great!
Indeed. Nice build. It's always good to challenge yourself with a style you've never done before. I know I almost always find a new idea or trick for the builds I love doing all the time, when I stretch. You did great. ♥♥♥
