MC Command Center - Divorcing?

Divorce help - I have tried the "divorce" action under the relationships tab (I think) and it did NOT work.
I have a whole world of custom sims going and I would like to restart from the beginning since I haven't played in months. I now want my sims back to being single and ready to "mingle". lol
Unfortunately, I did the wonderful thing of not saving a "fresh" starting point to go back to and currently have everyone married with kids in the current and only save.
I can go to each and every family and delete children, which has not been a problem, but for some reason CAS will not let me "divorce" the parents manually. Does anyone have any insight?
Again, MCCC divorce action doesn't seem to do the trick. They are still spouses. Both in the MCCC and in CAS.
Deleting all relationships doesn't work, either. It just makes them forget each other. They're stilled married.
