Sim won't stop drinking.

The male is fine aside from his weight and won't pick up books. The female has all the male issues plus she now stands in front of fridge drinking one glass of water after another. I repaired the game several times but there she is sucking down water for 8 straight Sim hours.

Great. I have pretty much the opposite issue: A female sim getting depressed from not drinking enough juice despite her having a juice bar in her home. For some reasons, she can not pour a drink from her own bar while I am not playing her.

My sims drink a lot too. I guess they've been watching Modest Pelican on YouTube and took his message to heart.

Actually, I thought by the title your Sim was drinking too much juice from the bar. LOL I had one young Mom who kept hitting their globe bar all of the time. Guess the children were stressing her out.

This is an annoying glitch. Most of my sims go straight to the sink to grab a glass of water if I leave them to their own devices for any length of time. You can stop them doing it with MCCC but I’m lazy and haven’t gotten around to doing that yet.

Fetching a glass of water is through the roof right now. It seems to be a high draw as soon as my Sims realize they are idle.

Them drinking is kind of fine, but atleast sort out all them glasses! Like literally, drop them in the sink!

I get this sometimes, my sims become obsessed with drinking water for no apparent reason.

The water thing can be quite annoying recently. I had to micromanage my sim just to read a book yesterday because he constantly kept putting it down after a few seconds to go get a glass of water.

And all my families are juice-aholics. If there is a bar in the house you can guarantee there is a sim making drinks at any given time. This just makes me chuckle though.

Obsession with water and not putting books away at all is really getting on my nerves, even worse when they dump glasses down and then you wonder why you are getting the uncomfortable messy environment buff and it takes ages to find the rogue glass

fwiw, the water drinking has been reported as a bug (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Excessive-Water-Juice-Drinking-Patch-1-55-105-Edition/m-p/8184728#M103472)

It was an issue a while back, got fixed, then came back with a vengeance in one of the recent patches.

I'm using my thirsttweak mod to avoid drinking problems.

It was annoying before, but got unbearable after the last patch.
