Both please
That would be great
Especially since I fully expect that if they do add farming or equestrian stuff it will be teen and up.. like always.. and that's frequently annoying to me
No, and English countryside world would be far better.
Windenburg is basically an English countryside.
No, it's not really. The name alone should indicate where their inspiration was from.
I would like rolling green hills, with children and toddlers on ponies.
I want fat little ponies that are stubborn.
I want little tots to go bounce, bounce bounce, when their pony starts to trot.
When your child becomes a teen, they're going to have problems...
I've been searching for this image for ages, I really wanted to post it here, but couldn't remember what the series was called.
Thelwell ponies, if you want to look it up. Tiny tots on fat ponies? Too cute.

The Tudor architecture and English pubs, and the Shakespeare Sim that was in the trailer suggests that England, at the very least, serves as some of Windenburg's inspiration.
A thing can be based on more than one thing.
The German angle is clear, but there is an English element to the world design as well.

Medieval German buildings:
The style is medieval half timbered, not specifically Tudor.

That's nice, except for all the times Maxis has called it Tudor.

Yes, that's because of the name of the American Tudor Revival, which was inspired by medieval half timbered buildings. IF you look at actual Tudor buildings (Hampton Court, for example), you'll find that they're usually ornate brickwork, with large windows, not black timbers with wattle and daub, and small windows.
But this thread is not about any of these things. It's about PONIES!!!!!
The game has never had ponies and they won't ever have them from my understanding. For one they said kids can't ride. Teen and up for riders.
Kids couldn't ride full sized horses but they could ride small ponies much easier. Plus, a long time ago (I think just before C&D dropped) someone in the know said it was easier to animate a dog versus a horse due to the size. A pony is the size of a dog, so, it shouldn't be an issue, especially since they are always wanting to do things differently or that they haven't done before.

Windenburg looks more like Germany/Austria.
I would LOVE a western world. I mean Oasis springs is "basically" kinda like the western climate, but at the same time it's not even close?
