Cheats broken with recent patches?

I have recently experienced several cheats being broken with the recent patches. I submitted a bug report to EA but I feel like I'm the only one having the problem. And it's only certain things.
Any trait cheats that are formatted stats.set_skill_level major_"" #. The ones with minor or skill instead of major are fine.
Certain trait removal or equippal like traits.remove trait_nightowl or traits.equip_trait top_notch_toddler
Particular career promotion/demotion cheats like careers.promote scientist and careers.promote parttime_barista
Anyone else experience this? I don't know if I'm putting certain ones in wrong (Maybe with night owl and barista but not scientist) or it's just the game, but these cheats used to work.
