Any idea why is it always dark when I take indoor screenshot? Tips please?
Note: it was still noon outside when I took the shots.

Use better lights. There are some ceiling lights that are really good. Use more lights! I tend to use the 'saucer' light a lot cuz it's small.

I recognize this house, it’s in Willow Creek, some of my sims used to live there. I started by changing the lights. I don’t know why most premade lots are very dark.

Like @Dianesims said, premade lots are always dimly lit. They have minimal lights and sometimes they aren't at full brightness. A good rule of thumb for bright lighting is to have at least one ceiling light in each room and if the room is bigger than 6x6, have one ceiling light and 2 floor/table lights or two ceiling lights. Once you place lights, go to live mode and then click a light and set color and intensity. Scroll the bar to the brightest intensity if it's not there already and then choose the third color option for white light. This is the most natural light in the game in my opinion. Happy simming!
