Emigration Question

How do I make sims move out of my town using story progression? I have no idea where to even start. Also, if I evict sims from their homes and then delete them from the clipboard does that remove them from the town or will they just regenerate? I'm asking because I did a rapid immigration and filled up my town way too fast that already had plenty of sims and now I want to depopulate it a little. Since I've been using the Story Progression mod, I don't think I've EVER had any sims leave the town I'm playing in so I don't know if I have it set up right?

Otherwise, I'm either going to try to delete them from the clipboard after evicting them or go stalk around my town and age a bunch of them up to elders or something, lol

Do you have master controller installed? If so, why not use total Annihilation? Although I believe it also gets rid of the sims the world came with.

I just answered a similar question for a different player very recently at NRaas, so for the emigration portion I'll just link to it here. Indeed, under NRaas SP all forms of emigration are deactivated by default.

On getting rid of sims brought in right away by over-zealous rapid immigration, or for any other reason, I would also suggest MasterController's Total Annihilation but at the Sim level (on the sims themselves, not on City Hall at the Town level). That removes all traces of those sims ever having existed, but only the ones selected rather than the entire town.
