What is wrong with his complexion? (photo)

First I want to say that I don't have any CC in my game, and never have in this game save.

This guy showed up for the first time at my sim's door. When you start up the game for the first time, he is one of the premade sims who live in Strangerville, and at the moment my sim is currently living in Oasis Springs.

I noticed something off with his skin tone, when I zoomed in to get a closer look, this is what I saw. None of the other sims in my game is doing this. As far as I know he has not been in Sulani, so I don't think it could be a bad sun tan.



I also took a picture of his legs also zoomed the camera in. He has all these dots all over his legs. I have check other sims in my game, and he is the only one that this is going on with.



Any ideas what is going on here?

Do you use any CC? Not just skins, but accessories? Those can have some unpredictable interactions.

Also, did you pull him into CAS in fulleditmode? I'd try manually changing skin-tone, and see if it persists.

there is a graphics option that allows sims to be shown at their highest graphical setting, having the box unchecked compresses the skin quality and their overall features. its at the bottom right , you probably have the box left without a check mark. each time i install/reinstall i have to turn it on or else the dark skinned sims , especially, have strange skin texture. if thats not it, i dont know.

well, enjoyfulsimmer beat me to it... but i have pictures! so will be posting, anyway... i had gone to check exactly what they'd mentioned about the skin texture box and sure enough, with it unchecked, i had gotten the exact same spots and blotches on mark as seen in the original post

and then, just to make sure, here's the right side of the selection under graphics options, you'll see the box is one of the two that i have checked off in this picture:
