“Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” - George Santayana
I’ve wanted to try the History Challenge for years now, and a few months ago I finally gave in! I’m changing a few rules and eras to suit my story and preferences, but for the most part I’ll attempt to stick to the rules and keep a scoresheet.
Compared to my other challenges and stories, I will be playing this one casually and post possibly once a week.
Our story begins during the Upper Paleolithic Era, with the wandering duo Alak’atar and Turk. Following a harsh winter, they seek food and warmth, and perhaps a safe place to settle down permanently… If only Turk had more than a rock for a brain and would listen to Alak’s wisdom, they might have a chance at making history.Blog: Doomed to Repeat

I AM TOO!
I wanted to wait until Rose Garden was finished before I officially posted this, but we're close enough to the end of Rose Garden so
Right now I have like, five more chapters scheduled of this for every Wednesday

Thank you, for the link and the compliment!
0.2 An Excellent Home
Thank you! I have not planned that far ahead and probably won't decide until I'm actually in or close to beginning the era where it'll matter. It's going to depend on what direction the story takes and how the characters develop.
since I want to do this challenge at some point I had started (but with a couple of my own twists).. I had started but I decided to re-write my Swanson Legacy instead
You should do it!
0.3 Making It Better
What world are you playing in? No modern skylines in the background! But it could be cc/strategic shots.
Windenburg! On the Island~ A few strategic screenshots to avoid distant towns and passing boats
I should've known! The 64x64 lot especially is great for that.
I'd love to be able to use the camping vacation world, whatever it's called, but alas
