So, I saw the idea in one of the surveys that came out a few years ago, and I think that's a really cool idea!
I think that in the past we couldn't see how this concept would suit the gameplay, but then they released various expansions that brought another approach to the gameplay, For example - StrangerVille.
The gameplay at Strangerville can be very good for this concept! Think about it - you send your Sim to Realty Show, where he progresses through the story through missions. The choices you make during the show will influence the story progress and your reputation in the compation.Will you choose to play by the rules or cheat and lie all the way to the Grand Prize?
These three reality shows that I think fit the game:
Survival - Players will have to survive in a deserted island with skills such as fishing, handiness (build shelter, etc.) and collecting. Every day there will be a council, and one player is removed from the game until the last survivor.
The bachelorette - The players will fight for the heart of a desirable bachelor/bachelorette. Skills like charisma, comedy and even mischief can help you win this game. Every day there is a rose ceremony (or whatever you call it) where one player is eliminated from the game. The last remaining player wins a cash prize (and love, perhaps).
Masterchef - The players will compete for the title of Master Chef with the skills of cooking and mixology. Players will have to work in groups and individuals to create the perfect meal and win the title and prize.
You will first need to audition to the competition and work on the appropriate skills to be accepted.Then, you will travel to the set (a deserted island, a kitchen-like studio, a closed villa) and start the game. You will meet other Sims who came to fight for their place in the final and take the Grand Prize. Your job is to choose who to connect with, who bothers you and what deeds and connections will bring you to the great final? Even if you have not won the prize, you can still be a favorite of the audience!
And what happens after the show is over? Fifteen minutes of glory begin! People will ask for a selfie, they will tell you their opinions about you, You will promote companies and products and yourselves as the star of the moment! If you are good enough you might get an invitation to the All Star season!
