I love the clubs. My sims have all kinds of clubs like family clubs where their children , grandchildren can come and stay over night for a visit. I have art clubs where they all paint and garden clubs to help out with my huge garden. Also I love the laser gun that comes with the science carreer. I love the active careers as it adds something to the game totally different from what we've had before.
I think all in all this is my favourite pack and my favoute city.
Windenburg is beautiful.

I'm probably in the minority, but I absolutely love the Doctor career! I'm in med school right now, so this Sims career gives me a good idea of what I'm getting myself into lol

I actually like the retail -- not so much running retail stores because that's meh but I like to create stores where my Sims can shop. I'm thinking of a costume shop using the costumes from the GF Acting career, or clothing shops with the best of the unlocked outfits from the various careers. I also want to try a bookshop with books written by one of my Sims, and an art gallery with paintings my artist Sims have painted.

Clubs and Windenburg were from Get Together (GT) not Get To Work (GTW). But I like the clubs too.

I really enjoy the retail business, I feel like a lot of players forget how versatile the retail lots are, almost any sim with any hobby can open up their own little retail shop to make some extra coin, or what I like doing is placing a bunch of retail lots around my world and go shopping myself for various events.

For me it added so much more than get famous.

I haven't delved into the retail side to say I dislike it or like it as I never played with it in Sims 3. I agree with you about Get Famous, I hardly play that EP.

Well...I like the aliens, lol. I'm a big fan of aliens, even my "self-sim" is an alien. I think hearing there were aliens was part of what got me to play sims at all, tbh. Aside from that, I agree that the scientist career is pretty dope, but I also like the detective and doctor ones. Yeah, it can all get a bit repetitive--I mean, all sims gets repetitive. Imo, it's what you bring to it that makes it interesting. I can have fun weaving my own stories and such in the format of those careers--right now, in one of my saves doing a "ultimate vampire challenge" (which is a thing I made up), but my vampire sim is a detective right now, which I picked just cause "Vampire Detective" is classic, y'know? Plus, "Detective Ashvale just has such a neat ring to it ;-P

I have been having SO MUCH FUN with the detective track. once i'm finished with that i'm moving onto scientist, because i still haven't been to the alien planet, minus several babymaking abductions.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum! Apologies if this is not the best place to ask but I was wondering, if I bought Get to Work (there is a sale on right now!), would I be able to mark CC objects for sale in my own retail store? Or only EA objects can be sold? Many thanks for any help!

Science career is my favorite career period - so that has to be the thing I like most about it.

The thing I like least about GTW is the 4 lot world. Nutty the business district should just have 4 lots. What is this - Mayberry?

The thing I actively like playing the most is retail, even if I don't run them I also place shops that sell collectibles in case I don't want to recollect them with new families (plants, elements, unlockable furniture) and some gameplay ones (a bridal shop so I don't need to redo outfits completely and a hair salon). Though I also use a lot of aliens and the science/doctor career too

Science career - cloning machine, serums, & sim ray, aliens, going to the hospital to have babies and getting a birth certificate, retail stores, baking, photography.

I bought GTW solely for the aliens. Still trying to get abducted though. 😕 Question. I know males can only get pregnant from abduction, but can a feminine sim that can get others pregnant get pregnant by alien abduction or is only the masculine sims?
