IF they are going to do a S5, I would think that they have been "talking" and making notes since S4 dropped with the idea of changing or improving areas that we complain about as they happen. Otherwise, that's a lot of stuff to remember a few years from now.
I'm curious as to when we'll hear about this next EP/GP/SP and its release date. Do you think they'll tell us anything this week? Or maybe wait until the first full week of May? I'm so excited to hear what we'll be getting.

I keep feeling that when they announce the Legacy Pack's release announcement - then we will get a pack announcement.
Otherwise it becomes an unfair tease for folks who are stuck with their 32 bit equipment for what ever the reason is - I know I couldn't do something like that.
I do think the only thorn in that thought would be if they needed to announce it for EA Play and the Legacy Pack was not ready yet. That is if they plan to show a new pack at EA Play. Who knows - maybe they are timing both to be ready on the same day before EA Play....

FreePlay is making more money for EA right now than The Sims Mobile. They’re not shutting down the more profitable game.
But it's very old and maybe difficult to maintain longer.

I don't think they've begun working on TS5 just yet as devs have stated multiple times that they still have a lot of stuff that will go into TS4.
They can work on multiple games at the same time. TS4 development for example started just shortly after TS3 base game was shipped.

No the EP is out in June but it will be announced in May.

I would be happy with any of these two. I really like Island Paradise, but I haven't ever played a University pack so I'm excited to see how it is!
