Adding Insult to Injury …

What are the odds of getting two toddlers with the Wild trait? Yes, I took a pair of dice and rolled them for each child. The boy is the older of the two. Turns out they both have the Wild trait. (Had I realized it at the time she aged up, I would have rerolled for her.) He's settling down as he gains in his skills, happily. He's actually livable, now.

However, his younger sister has just aged up. She's gone from yellow to red in bladder/hunger/energy and fun. The little devil has been offered food by both of her parents. Her mother even told her to eat something under the 'Help with Needs' menu. Still the little crumb-cruncher would rather throw the food from her highchair than eat it. She's tired, has to pee really bad, hungry, bored and won't eat.

To add insult to injury, I get that pop-up telling me about Toddlers and their Needs … Yeah, try telling me something I don't already know! I'm about a minute away from using the Make Happy cheat on her. It's no wonder she's a skinny little thing. Oi!

Can't wait to see what her brand new baby brother is going to be like. Face/palm. It's moments like this that makes you wonder if these two Sims should remove themselves from the gene-pool. :open_mouth:

Please share your moments of insult on top of injury.

I had one but it was involving Sims 3. Don't remember the mod I was using, but I was able to change the number of sims allowed to live on the same lot. I had done this because I wanted to keep a few extra family members on the same lot (the grandparents) without cutting down on the number of children born. Normally I don't like going past two babies at the same time, but I don't mind large families if the children are spaced out in age.

I had made a few mistakes with this one family. I had given both the husband and wife the trait reward that allows multiple births (twins/triplets), and I had the wife wish for a large family with the genie. She did get pregnant but ended up giving birth to ten babies. This was just too much for the parents to handle, so I hired a butler, but he didn't really help with the babies. My next option was to add Bonehilda, but she refused to help with the babies. Oh yes, this family also had twin toddlers to care for as well.

@GalacticGal and @LaBlue0314 I am laughing so hard right now after reading your posts. My youngest son was a wild child and acted exactly as your Sim toddler does, quite often. Your description of the highchair battle brought back many, ummm, pleasant?, memories of his antics before he calmed down a bit when he turned five. And @LaBlue0314, OMG, ten babies at once?!? Plus two toddlers? Small wonder the butler and Bonehilda have run for the hills and refuse to help. To say it is going to be a challenge....I hope you have enough patience to get you through raising this family! That many children in one household would drive me insane even if they are just pixel babies. Good luck to both of you. :#
