PS4 rotate object

Hey

Is there a way to rotate objects from your sims inventory? I have just taken my sims on vacation and cannot rotate the tent when placing it.

I don’t think so for console. I haven’t been able to find a way to rotate items pulled from my sims inventory so I gave up. The only workaround I can think of is to use the cheat bb.enablefreebuild (if you use cheats in your game) to allow you to go into build mode while on a vacation. Place the tent from your inventory while in live mode then go into build mode to rotate it like you would an object you just bought and placed. I know going into build mode on vacay lots breaks the immersion for some players, but it can help to move around your inventory items.

Thanks for your reply. It’s a shame we can’t rotate from inventory.

You guys..... it took me ages to figure tgis out 🤣🤣 I feel so silly.
You can rotate them in a way.
Rotate your camera to the direction/wall you want your objects back to be. Use the drag button (square on ps4) to pull it out and wallah it's the now the direction you want.
