A 'required update' ?

Hey all,

So I just went to go play sims, it opened origin as usual, but wouldn't open sims. When I looked into it and went to origin, it said that the sims had a 'required update' and asked my permission to go ahead and update it.

Note that this was not the patch, I had already previously updated the sims and was playing the freelancer career in game, so I'm not sure what this required update is, and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this?

[SOLVED: There was another patch about an hour ago, this was said update]

You sure it wasn't the patch? Because they just dropped a new one about 45 minutes ago to fix some stuff with CC/Mods.

According to the notice at the top of the forum, a small patch was released an hour ago. I'd imagine it's that

Ah, i closed it assuming it was talking about an the freelancing patch so it'll be that- ty all, sorry for the silly question!
