Family firster (always having a legacy, babies on the making, creates unbreakable family bonds, plays inside a house 99% of the time)
> @Rouenpucelle said: > I'm a combination of Architect, Character Creator, Custom Content Shopper, and Pack Stacker. I've never killed one of my Sims, though.
I don't kill my sims either :D I've only done that once when I wanted a ghost in my family.
You know, I'm none of these at the moment. I probably would be the Pack Stacker, but I only got The Sims 4 a few months ago and haven't had time to get all of them yet.
Guilty of all of the above except Sim killer. And rather than being an architect, I prefer the term ' house flipper'. I find houses and venues in the Gallery that I like, download them then alter the interior to suit my play style. I am not very good at creating anything that doesn't resemble a box. So if I see something that has an interesting exterior I can usually find a way to work with that and create a workable floor plan. I can create parks like a champ but when it comes to houses, umm, not so much.

Definitely a legacy player. Love playing families and following them through the generations.
Yes! I got to 15 generations I think as a maximum. I LOVE following their stories as they leave home, create their own lives, families and find true love. Adopting kids (or having them), building a house with well-earned money.
One thing I consider interesting in my particular way of playing legacy, is I make one of the sons or daughters the heir, and make them inherit all their parents' funds.
I do this by using the cheat "money x" so I reduce the parents funds to 100 so they have enough till they go to work again, and give their heir the rest.
Custom content shopper (spends 3 hours downloading cc from tumblr only to spend another 5 hours on CAS using ALL of THAT)
I'm definitely a blend of several of these, as most people are, I expect. But I had to give CC Shopper the top spot. The description of spending hours browsing CC and then yet more hours in CAS using it all just fits too well.
That said, I really want to be a Supernaturalist, but thus far, TS4 has been rather limiting in that area. I'm still hoping the Gurus will give us more supernaturals/occult life states sometime soon.

That's interesting, I actually find building parks so much harder than building houses! It is mainly because I quite struggle with the terrain tools :D

In my previous saves, I was definitely a family firster more than anything. Which leads into the pack stacker, because it's hard to experience everything new when you don't leave your sims' house much and you've always got new children you're trying to skill up. But in my current save I started with one big family and I'm spreading that one out into multiple small (1-2 kids per generation) households in rotation, and each household is focused on a different expansion or game pack (only including game packs that have their own worlds) and lives in a different neighborhood. And I'm making a point to take them to community lots and have them in clubs so they have social lives and don't spend all their time at home. So my current save really doesn't fit any of the above, but I voted Family first just based on my history.
I am actually a combo of them but since I rarely play humans Supernatural is more me. I really wish we had more options officially. I am also an architect, I love to build, Serial Killer because sometimes Sims just really just need to die. Character Creator. I love to have a wide variety of clothes, shoes, accessories, hair, skins etc to work with and really love coming up with their backstory.
Playtesting - not just tabletop games and card games any more. Really that should have been playtested in Beta and not
I'm a combo of several as I think most Simmers are.
-Character creator
-Modder (500 different folders with mods)
-Custom content shopper (spends 3 hours downloading cc from tumblr only to spend another 5 hours on CAS using ALL of THAT)
-The pack stacker (has every pack, feels overwhelmed by it, never actually experiences the WHOLE game cause you know, that's too much) except I don't have Vamps and Spooky since I don't do supernaturals. But other packs have it can be overwhelming because it will take me a long time to try out everything, this dates back to my TS2 and TS3 days.
Plus I love families and I spend a lot of time with them, but I also have a singles save where none of my Sims are married nor do they have children. I spend a lot of time playing in this save as well.
Challenger (plays based on challenges such as runaway teen, legacy etc.)
I love a challenge, I've played so many, some repeatedly. I could've chosen Architect though, I love to build and often lose all sense of time when building my challenge Sims homes. I also love build challenges and have entered quite a few. But I also love creating Sims and can spend an inordinate amount of time in CAS on just one Sim.
I haven't played very many families or legacies for any length of time due to the toaster laptop I had before getting my new gaming desktop. I played on that old thing for so long, I've developed habits I'm finding hard to break, such as mostly only playing with one Sim at a time.
I'm trying to break that habit and get back to playing with large families. I've missed the fun (and chaos), satisfaction and heartwarming moments with this style of gameplay. I have a number of family oriented challenge saves put on hiatus I could continue, it's just a matter of choosing one. Or I could start a brand new save. I can't decide. lol #thestruggleisreal
My game play is based on the family, but I don't always play a Legacy. I generally do Pinstar's Legacy Challenge, but only once per iteration of the game. I don't do a great deal of cc, in fact I only have Khitsule's Pointy ears at the moment, plus two mods: MCCC and RTF. I do focus on my family as a unit. I tend to play full households, so yes, I do use cheats. (Just for the record, I didn't use to be so fond of cheats, although money and free real estate I have always used.) Lately, I use the Make Happy cheat just to keep my Sims from wetting their pants during a concert.
I do enjoy building. I've always been fond of floor plans and have recreated homes I've lived in or ones I was in often enough to recall the layout. I'll take a break from actual gameplay, upon occasion, to build the home intended for a Sim. I might even go all out and decorate it. Drapery et al. In many ways I'm a little of column A and a little of column B type player. I just haven't ventured into trying to create a mod. Not that computer savvy.
I'm all around. If there were a storyteller option I'd choose that since I used to be one. I would do it again if Maxis released an update or game pack with storytelling options in the gallery with pictures or (maybe) videos like in the last iteration. A third party blog would be too much of a hassle for me. I preferred Maxis tools for storytelling. There's a lot of funny stuff in The Sims that happens in my game. That would be fun. Lately I just play as I like to play. I rarely ever get past the third generation with 1 household. I try though lol.
Family firster (always having a legacy, babies on the making, creates unbreakable family bonds, plays inside a house 99% of the time)
However I don't think Sims 4 really caters to family players, so in the Sims 4 I usually just play with a young adult and go to community lots and hang out. I switch to earlier games to play with sim families.
