Journalist Career tweak? On articles and tanking relationships

So, I have a journalist sim and I love it. But one thing REALLY annoys me.
You see, my journalist sim wrote a negative article about Mayor Roswell. Who is paranoid, evil, and hotheaded.
Their relationship barely went down. At all.
I had to hop on him and have him hunt her down and start a fight to manually tank their relationship.
Basically, I feel like positive/negative articles should have more effect, and was wondering if there was a way to mod this or a mod out there that edited those values. I want to make enemies with my inflammatory articles, dangit!
