The sims 3 and origin question.

Hi,
If I temporarily uninstall Origin to make sure it doesn't try to interfere with me reinstalling my Sims 3 game from my discs will my sims 4 game function normally as soon as I put origin back on or is it better to uninstall sims 4 and then uninstall origin and then put them both back on after my Sims 3 games are installed and patched properly I have sims 3 disks that were manufactured before 2012 by the way. I have read it is helpful to install the sims 3 base game only and then run the super patcher, but people have also suggested uninstalling origin as well until my base game is properly installed and patched with the super patcher. I have been reluctant to uninstall origin because my sims 4 game is working splendidly and I don't want to mess that one up like I did when I tried to incrementally patch my game from 1.66 to 1.67.

Uninstalling the Origin client program and then reinstalling it later will not (should not) disturb your Origin-managed game programs like TS4. Of course, those games will not work until Origin is restored again.

You will still need to uninstall TS3 completely and clean the Windows Registry using a tool such as CCleaner (the free version is fine) before installing the disc-only version, but perhaps that's already been done or accounted for on your end.
