If so, I selfishly hope they have mermaids. Make them so they don't appear in game unless you do some very specific interaction -that way people who don't like to play the occult can keep them out but still get the rest of the stuff. I really loved house boats in TS4, I'd love diving again and swimming at the beach. I wonder what they will add to make it worthy of being an EP? I don't think we'd get houseboats again because of the way they do lots. I imagine resorts would return?

I like in Get to Work where aliens can potentially appear, but certain things make them way more likely. I also like the fact that you can just create an alien if you want to.

I think they'll release something in June, but I don't think it'll be a full EP. More likely a GP or SP. Game studios release AAA titles late in the year in time for the holidays, and we know we're getting one SP, one GP, and one EP before the end of October. I definitely think we'll get something in June, given the architecture update, and we'll probably see something in August in time for student finance refunds in the US (this just makes sense from a business standpoint). I bet the EP comes out last, sometime in October.
That said, I'd love to have a plum vacation world GP. I personally hate camping, and rooting around ancient temples doesn't interest me, so a vacation world I'd use would be greatly appreciated.
Whatever the EP, I just hope it has a new world and as many editable lots as Get Together had.
Game Changers only get called out for expansions. I'm expecting the 8th expansion in November so that's 2 EPs this year.
I will admit I am not in the group keen on an island pack, and also not particularly fussed about Uni either, but in answer to some of the above - there has been surfing tied to surf boards, and houseboats, in Freeplay for years and I have always felt 4 follows that a little. I know it's based on TS3 styling but some of the objects are the same.
Considering how large UNI worlds have to be, I’m guessing it’ll be for university.
LOL. In TS2 they were pretty small and just had three specialty buildings (dorms, frat house and secret society i think).
In TS3 all worlds were huge. So TS4 won't necessarily have HUGE uni worlds because of the june update...

Me personally dont think the sims 4 has to be completely realistic. Infact I prefer it not to be. No offense but we can just turn off our game and live in the real world for that. I like the sims to escape for a wee while. Also putting butchers on a farm pack would be realistic I dont think for me it would matter. The farm pack obviously could have a new town, country clothing, objects like rocking chair, knitting. They could also add a farmers market and a county fair. Looking after animals cows, pigs , chickens, horses and sheep. More harvestables, tractors. They could be that much we can do. Nobody will notice that a butchers isnt there. We can milk cows, get chickens eggs, get wool off sheep for knitting, horses well they made a great pet in the sims 3 and pigs well they would make a good pet also 😂. I think adding a butchers would upset some vegetarians and I dont think its wise to inspire people to become vegetarians, I'm not judging anybody , one of my cousins is, but we were meant to have meat in diet, which explains why my cousin gets ill alot.
At this point I just want a "Get Interesting" pack where sim's traits actually have some meaning to them and aren't all emotional buffs. Where they get hobbies, a memory system, attraction system, likes and dislikes and don't default to being nice to other sims when they aren't controlled depending on their relationship and traits.
I want part time jobs for adults. I want pregnancies like in Sims 3 where you can have good and bad pregnancies that can affect the child. I want sims going through midlife crises and prank calls. I want the option to create sims whose relationships aren't just sibling, spouse or roommate. Let me set them as fiance, partner/boyfriend/girlfriend. I want burglars (put a toggle on them for all of the sensitive people) and more ways to die.
I'm tired of finding my evil sims hugging their nemesis in the bathroom. This isn't what I wanted from "weirder stories"
At this point, not matter what pack is released people are going to be mad. Because people are really good at being mad, sometimes about nothing. And no matter what pack they release it's only going to be putting a new coat of polish on a piece of trash. Because the sims 4 has a terrible foundation (yeah, I know about the Olympus thing.) that needs to be fixed in some way before they add anything to it.

yeeesss and they need to bring back things like proms and the ability to sneak out, each life state feels the same, there's hardly anything defining each one. its like im doing the same thing over and over with each family
I would really love to see a University, Making Magic, Dragon Vale or Island Paradise. I’d also like to be able to host another summer, like we were able to do in 3. I have everything made for Sims 3, including the content advertised on the Sims Dashboard: Deaths Mansion, the great big farm, the Venetian lot with gondola rides on the canal, the amusement park...all of it, so I’d also like to see things like this offered by EA. I’ve been Simming since day one. Lol! I own everything Sims, and really I’m just excited to see what’s next.

Same here! I want both of them, but it's gonna be inevitable that one of them must come first and not everyone will be happy. I just hope that both of these will come this year, and honestly it would be another great year if they did both come. (Ignore MFPS haha)
