Fool's Prayer

I'm totally frustrated not being able to name the song from which this was taken. The melody is one I know I've heard before, yet the lyrics escape me. Is this just one of those tunes that is hauntingly familiar, yet an original piece of work?

If this really is an actual song, can someone please kindly give me the song title. This would be very helpful to me. Thank you, in advance. It's driving me to distraction.

I opened a new tab and typed in the search box "lyrics to fools prayer" and it came up a list. Does the words start out as "Walking the park so late at night, etc"?

I need to hear the music to be certain. So far, doing a similar search, I'm finding out it was a poem. Any musical rendition is extreme Country. But, thanks for trying!

Ok, I typed in fools prayer music and seems like they have some on YouTube videos, but the few I listened to are kinda country. Talking to my daughter on the phone, but I hope you find what you are looking for

@FairyGodMother Woke up this morning and began my morning ablutions. Like every morning, a random song popped into my head. Today, the song that Fool's Prayer was hinting at came forward, and I finally had some lyrics. I found it online and listened to the "official" video. Then I went back into my game to listen, again, to Fool's Prayer. They're not totally the same, but very reminiscent. Foreigner's "I Want To Know What Love Is". It's basically the mood set by the background music in the beginning of the Sim song. Melody isn't 100% the same. But then again, my daughter was able to identify one of the songs used in ST for the Singer career. I think this is the inspiration, at least. For now, mystery solved.
