I'm interested to see how many Simmers believe certain theories. I personally believe he's possibly deceased or abandoned his family, because the children do look like they are biological brothers and look like Mila, too.

In my headcanon Mila's husband was a violent drunkard. She divorced him and he's forbidden to ever come near the family again.

I've always just assumed she was a widow. But I can see how the other choices would offer more story playing options. I wonder how many gallery households there are of Mr. Munch?

I did think he died at first, but it makes more sense that he left his family - for me, at least. I might check the gallery for him - I'm interested to see how other players envision him.

I have often wondered this myself...abandonment by the father would explain Wolfgang's rebelliouness. But this pie theory has me very intrigued.

I think the theory that Mila adopted them is kinda flawed because her oldest would surely know if the youngest was adopted, there’s a significant age gap between them and would probably recall her never being pregnant if she did adopt, or if she did, he would recall it.

This explains a lot. That also may be the reason why Gunther doesn't want to move out and Lucas being such a good kid. They want to be there for their mother and don't want her to be alone.

This theory with her baking him is hilarious and not that impossible! Especially if you (like me) recently read story about Katherine Knight, a woman that actually cooked her husband, she's the first woman in Australia that got sentenced for life without parole :P. Maybe Mila Munch enjoys munching forbidden types of of food :smiley:

He ran off to join a cult just off Starlight Boulevard and took Wolfgangs twin sister with him. Wolfgang is angry because he wanted to brush shoulders with the right and famous and instead he got left behind in the back end of rural nowhere. (In my game anyway )

So...funny story about this..

I have Mila's younger son, Lucas, as a playable Sim-he married the oldest daughter of one of my households. They actually met as kids when her father joined the garden club. I never pay much attention to the pre-mades, so I assumed that Lucas must have been the son of Bjorn, the garden club's leader. (I mean, why else would this little kid be in a gardening club when kids in TS4 can't garden!) So, I wrote him that way. I had this whole thing about how Bjorn thought Daisy (my Sim who he eventually married) was a bad influence because she gave Lucas VoidCritter cards, and she would invite him over so they could watch the show in secret...and then when they were teenagers I noticed the last names.

So, I had to come up with a different backstory (very, very quickly) to explain the fact that I'd had Lucas refer to Bjorn as his father on several different occasions. I ultimately decided that Lucas's father had never been around, but when Lucas was very young Mila had a relationship with Bjorn to the point where Lucas saw him as a father figure...until she discovered Bjorn had a wife and daughter of his own.

Lesson learned-always make sure you know which pre-made house is which if you're bringing someone in!
