Absolutely clueless about creating CC

I've got Sims 4 Studio, I've got Blender, I've watched some tutorials and.....I just can't even begin to recolor a pair of socks let alone actually creating something. Blender is just full of tools and choices and I can't get my head around it. Is there even an "undo" function when you need to make a correction.

FYI, I'm trying to convert a women's one piece swimsuit into a long sleeve leotard and I just can't work Blender properly. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

I'm clueless too. I have Studio as well. In terms of understanding CCs, I'm about newborn level of understanding. I've been scouring the forums and Google in attempt to migrate CCs (specifically CAS) I've found for Sims 2 that I would LOVE to have for Sims 4. The original mods aren't my own and I have zero intention of taking it and calling it my own (I had that). Can anyone point me in the right direction? I need basic of basic instructions. Like a child learning their ABCs for the first time basic. These are strictly for my own usage.
