    since the update

    I have noticed two things, first, my sims don't have wishes anymore. there isn't anything they want. the second, repairs take sim minutes, even when mechanical skill is very low.

    are these intentional. I've only been playing one house since the update, will be playing a different one later today.

      Repair one I’m not sure about but the wishes or whims is a gameplay option in settings now. Sounds like yours were turned off. Go to settings and you should be able to turn them back on in gameplay options I believe :).
