A wedding in Windenburg

I just had my sim marry Candy Behr after dating for almost one sim year, and here are their wedding pics.

First, I had Candy go to the venue about an hour before it started so she could get her hair and makeup done. I haven't even joined the actor career in my game yet, but I love how I can add it to their wedding experience. Makes it feel richer instead of just having them show up and say I do.


Anyway, while Candy was getting her makeup done, her future husband Casion decided to grab himself a drink in the private lounge area.


Meanwhile the organist showed up. Too bad, she could not play good at all. In fact, she sounded horrible.


Now it was time for the guests to arrive. I didn't really get any pics of them since they all just stood around dancing. I'm thinking this is a bug that came with one of the previous patches since it never happened in my game before, but whatever. Casion and Candy still looked stunning saying their vows.



Next it was time to cut the pretty cake.



Then party time!

I had just added the makeup table and then when I was about to get my sim to do her makeup, I thought about it and was like, "Nah a star like her needs a professional makeup artist." So I added it instead.

I really like the notion of having a stylist do the bride's makeup, that's cool. I sometimes will have my bridge luxuriate in a spa/tub prior to the ceremony, but I may take it this one step further, next time!

Your pictures are amazing. I have never really been able to coral the guests. They always seem to just mill around. Sometimes one will get under the wedding arch. In these instances I pretend it's the officiant. But, yeah, it's annoying as all get out. So much so I've strongly considered having my current engaged couple elope!

Pretty easy with Seasons, one full cycle of seasons = 1 year.. Right?

I base it on the calendar that came with Seasons. They started dating in early spring and got married in early winter of the same year. So almost a year of dating.

I rarely pay much attention to my weddings, so many of them don't get the event. I really should change my routine!
