No whims...etc

I've looked for a thread about this but didn't find one. Since the update my Sim has no whims, also I saved up aspiration points(10,000) for never gets weary trait, and he now gets tired..quite a few aspiration issues.

Also my Sim has a lot of aspirations and the page that shows them, no longer shows his age, so I have no clue when he will age up(unless I do see the notification)

Is this a known issue, or am I alone?

For the whims issue, the Get Famous patch made whims optional. You have to go into Gameplay settings and tick the box to enable whims if you want them to show up.

@Evie0602 Thank you so much, I was not aware of that, and sure enough that's what it was! Thank you for your response ♥

It was in the patch notes.

I always read through them just so I know what's what before I update. I just like to know things like that. LOL. But either way - you still found your answer - so what ever works for you is okay too.

I guess making whims optional was easier than making whims relevant.....sigh :/

100% behind that statement. I also don’t understand why they made them be off be default smh

But whims were how I bought extra traits without having to fill aspirations. Why are those off by default now? Isn't that one of the points of TS4? How is hiding them improving them as Bixters said. Shouldn't it be the other way around on by default and off/not seen by choice? I think so.

I think you are having this issue "Simology panel top off top of screen if Sim has lots of traits". Could you take a glance at that thread and see if it sounds what you're experiencing?

I'll need to close this thread from here as any Bug related information should now be shared on AHQ. :)
