I suspect we will get both a Farming and a University EP next year. I'm guessing even though University has been requested a lot, they started asking specific questions about Farming in early 2018, so that may come first. That also fits in better with releases for the seasons, at least in the US - late spring/early summer Farming, Fall for University. But I strongly suspect we WILL see University next year, just not first.
Farming will probably be a GP UNLESS they can think of and add an amazing feature to make it worth EP price.
I want [b]Witches[/b]! Mainly because with the vampires you can’t really decide to be a good one or a bad one, you kinda get pushed into being bad, plus how cool would it be to be a witch?
I really want more occult life states in sims 4. I feel like the sims team caters to the "normal life" players the most because that's what most of the sim youtubers playstyle is, but they're forgetting that there's a large fanbase that loves the supernatural playstyle that the franchise has had since sims 2... I really hope they start catering to us soon too. :c
Island Paradise if and only if we get a baby upgrade before it releases, because I want babies to be able to partake in fun Island actives. Otherwise I'd be fine with "University" coming next, if it wasn't just university, but all school ranges.
I like the idea of having university because it would add more gameplay to my families, and I like the idea of my sims going to college and making memories while getting a head start on their careers. I also like the idea I've heard on the forums of an education pack, rather than just a university pack, that would include schoolcentric gameplay for more of the life stages.
I'd also like a fairy tale pack. That way we can have witches, werewolves, and fairies, and we might even get a few new supernatural types. And it would have a slightly new spin on it than all of the previous supernatural type packs, which tended to focus more on the darker side of supernaturals.
A mythical/fantasy pack for sure. I love how creative I can get when making occult sim characters and would like more types in the game! I especially miss werewolves and want them back desperately haha
They need to come out with university except when they do, it should add a layer to the game that is more intergrated with the previous packs. Not like the outdoor and jungle packs where it’s easy to neglect those features. University should feel more like another level in gameplay and the lifespans of sims, just like the active careers and get Famous
I honestly think all the options in the poll are fantastic and would be wonderful editions. I would be happy with any well created options in any of those themes. I personally chose fantasy because there is a massive lack of it in game currently. It's always been a large part of the sims world and a great many simmers adore and miss this aspect. There are a lot of wonderful fantasy builds and characters on the gallery, I tend to build a great many elvish fantasy builds myself. But without the features and mystical life states and objects to sustain them and really utilize them, it's all rather cosmetic and becomes, unfortunately, one note in game play. Particularly the sims themselves. You can only do so much with vampires, aliens and ghosts before it gets boring. I miss the magic.
Personally, I want something totally different, like a witches/fairies AND mermaids mystic pack, with a new world, skills and the whole bit, with an update to make lakes swimmable, but I know the community wants University more, so I guess I'll take that to get it out of the way
I like a lot of the options in this poll. I loved building house boats and owning a beach resort in island paradise, I also enjoyed being able to make witches and werewolves, but I would love to try a farming pack. I've never played something like that and would love the opportunity to.
For this iteration with its many limitations, I think that it would be easiest for them to create a futuristic version of what's already in the game. They could just reskin everything already existing from one of the existing "worlds" to look metallic and add shiny bloops, beebops, and lights to everything. An additional expan$ion could even add in robot maid and robot cats/dogs and maybe a reskinned rocket ship. It'd be something.
I also voted for University, because I do want college and such. But I also REALLY want a magic/supernatural pack that's kind of like TS3, but with some tweaking. Like no zombies please. And make the werewolves better, like how the vampires are much better for this version than they were in TS3 (at least in my opinion).
If we could have magical university, that would be AMAZING. Just saying. xD
I voted for University but would equally like a Magic EP. A Farming EP or GP would also be great and works well with the type of stories I like to see and create.

Man I want my Sims to be educated soooo bad, especially with the wider socialisation and gameplay options of S4 over S2/3. It was a close call between that an Supernatural as I love anything weird or occult and besides vampires and aliens, S4 is kind of lacking in the creepy species genre.

And while I enjoyed Island Paradise in the Sims 3 quite alot, I don’t want for the Sims 4 version to be all laggy like the last one. (at least for me)
