I loaded up the CAW version of Riverivew which is just the terrain map of the world and saved as to a new filename before opening it in S3PE to change the world's ID number and to make another save of it.I started working on the version with a new world ID and have been editing the terrain so far.I've decided to have everything in this version except for lots which can end up backwards when placed in CAW though I can make a save file withe lots in place.
Riverdale in CAW.
Here's a view of the Riverdale terrain map from CAW.It's what I'll be working with for the Riverview makeover.
Here's another view of the map.I'll be leaving this world empty and blank for easy placement of lots in saves.I don't want to risk getting lots placing backwards or facing the wrong way.

Here's another Riverview makeover update below.
Here's where I began sculpting terrain to try reducing the steep slope into the water to a gentler slope.
I removed the walkway since it had no intersction breaks in it.
I replaced it with sections broken up with sidewalk intersections.
I extended the reach of the trails along the riverbank.
I started this project because I love playing blank worlds and others have also felt the same way about the worlds.I found fewer routing issues in worlds that start blank and get lots added over time and I don't have to worry about adjusting lot settings for story progression on so many lots if the world is blank as the lots aren't all added right away.
Here's my Riverdale CAW update below.
I added guard rails at the side of a bridge in the town center.
I had to place rocks at the edge of another bridge.
The smallest road bridge got rocks at the sides as well.
