I can't figure out how to make pictures while in first person view mode.
First, to get to first person view, you click shift+tab.
Then, click 'C' for pictures or 'V' for videos on your keyboard. It is the same as if you were to take screenshots in the other view modes.
There are also some buttons on the bottom of the UI that also lead you to the camera controls! It should be the circle above the temperature icon.
There should be a folder generated within the EA / Sims folders (outside of the game) called 'screenshots' or 'recorded videos' where you can find all the pictures and videos you've taken in-game.
hope that helps!
thank you ! Another question, how to pause when in first person view mode ?
You just push the P button the same way you do in regular mode.
I really want to try this out but i do not want to get dizzy or sick. is there a way to mess with the settings of it? and if so what did you guys do to make it better?
You could just not use it while they're walking or swinging or otherwise moving quickly. Or pause the game first then just cycle through your household to see what they were looking at at that one moment.

There aren't any settings, yet, but you can change the depth of view with your mouse wheel. I've heard that helps some folks.
So I switched bathroom mirrors, and the new one was set higher than the old. So I figure, let's go to first person to see how it looks from there. I shift-tab, pause, and look about to check it out.....and then I notice something that gives me the chills. Paused, first person, the sims eyes follow the direction you are looking.....
Felt like one of those old tv shows where the protagonist gets the ability to stop time and move about, and then gets suspicious about one person that should be frozen, but their posture changes between times they see them. Always found those kinds of moments creepy as heck.
Addendum: For First-Person mode being more just a experiment on a whim, there is a lot of depth to it. Whoever came up with it and coded it together needs to be kept on, most definitely.
