YES! it was the first time I ever saw Haldir eating normally! I think it must have just been coincidental that the pics chosen showed him eating neat! It is actually difficult for me to take the pic at the exact instant that it looks like messy eating! LOL But I was delighted seeing that pic of Haldir! I also have a very hard time getting the pic of when my slob sim will fart and try to wave the bad smell away! I don't know if it's because I am laughing so much or what, but I am never fast enough to get the pic!
You know, I enjoy Timon so much because he looks so elegant and graceful but he does have the slob trait which is so funny when put together with his beautiful face!
This was an amazing and happy and very colorful update of the backstories and we ALL loved to see it!!! Such a good job you have done my friend!!! Yes I am eager to see what happens with Tyler!

It´s never easy to make good pictures when there are so many Sims trying to photobomb your picture!
But this time it was quite easy to get nice pictures because the Sims looked so good in the surroundings and behaved good. Well, most of them...

Yes, this stray cat (called Streuner in German! ) definetely wanted to be in the story and, because she is a cat and cats can be very convincing, she got her fifteen minutes of fame.
Haldir was very angry about that unfinished crown and that Travis could be crowned a few years after at the next Thing. He really has a temper some times and some of his subjects are very afrqid if him. Especially the ones who made big mistakes and didn´t tell him about that.
He never was/is unfair, he just hates imperfection and inability. He always expects perfection and can´t stand people who don´t give 100%.
He got a bit more relaxed in the last years, but his children could be very lucky that he made an exception with them. With his kids he was always very soft and understandingly, with them he was the more laid back parent!
Although Tyler and Thor would say that he was a very strict and demanding dad, always wanting them to be the best and to give more than 100%. Maybe this is why Tyler thinks that he isn´t a good man? That he feels so inaptly? I have many pictures of Haldir eating in his normal way, but when I post pictures of the family eating I have to get the picture where the one on which the focus is looks appropriate for the story, so Haldir managed to hide how he is eating somehow! I promise to post eating pictures of him eating normal in the future!
Oh, this is a picture I´ve always missed, too, the one where they wave their hand behind their back to destroy the fart!!! (it looks so great when Haldir does that, especially when he normally looks so perfect, like Timon!! But the best thing is when he gets scolded by Travis because he didn´t make his bed!!! )

It was much fun for me to go back in history for that part of the story, gave me many good memories!
But now I am soooo ready to tell Tyler´s story further!
If needed I will tell what happened in the past still, but now I just want to focus on Tyler and his fight against the dark (remember that he still isn´t fully cured from it? We still have to wait for Alfarin´s potion to be ready for him to drink!) and maybe of a relationship of him and Sif.
Or maybe not...
Right now I am working on a "short" summary of what has happened to Tyler before he had to be killed by his dad. "Short" because I have selected 104 pictures for being worth of being shown in that retrospect/summary..... as always I have too many pictures and too many things in my head which I want to tell and show and too less time and to much inability to get it shortened....
Many years have passed on now after Haldir and Travis fell in love and married.
They´ve got 13 kids during the last centuries, most of them have children, grand children and even grand-grand children on their own now.
Most of their kids didn´t cause any problems or troubles, most of them were well-behaved and good in school. (of course they had the usual teenage problems and some of them were more rebellious than others, but all in all they were nice and easy going)
Of course some had troubles in life such as divorce or wrong jobs and such, but they could always depend on their dads and their siblings to help them.
But their youngest and their second youngest kids (Thore and Tyler)
brought them into lots of trouble.
It all began when Thore became a young adult.
Even as a teen he had a crush on Tyler´s wife Stella,
but he didn´t make a move towards her, because of his lack of confidence and the knowing that she clearly wasn´t interested in teenagers.
But when he became 18 he had the confidence to begin to flirt with her.
And she responded!
Haldir and Travis were aware of the situation and told Thore to stop the flirting, at that time they were living together with Tyler and his little family at Tyler´s stud farm at Northeney.
They also told Stella to stand by her husband and to stop flirting with Thore, but neither Thore nor Stella listened to them.
It wasn´t clear for his dads if Tyler was aware of the flirting and if he just ignored it or if he didn´t know. At that time he wasn´t home very often, whenever he had time he jumped on his favorite horse and rode across the island.
Although Stella got pregnant with their forth child, a baby boy later called Samuel, he didn´t spend much time with her. This was completely different the three pregnancies before where he was so caring for her.
But all it seemed he cared for at the time where she was pregnant with Samuel was riding and getting away from her.
So Stella turned to Thore who was more than willing to begin a love affair with her, maybe because he liked her or just because she was the only woman within his reach?
Only Haldir knew what Tyler was going through, he knew that Tyler had much bigger and more severe problems than being betrayed by his wife, but he knew that he just could try to protect him in secret, well-knowing that his son wouldn´t like to be helped by him. (this was the reason why he had moved the court to Northeney, to take care of his son)
Haldir had a providence of some of the things which happened to Tyler. But he didn´t know what caused his foreseeing and what events lead to Tyler´s and Stella´s split, he just knew that he had to be with his son when the forseeing took place.
He even told Stella what he had seen and that she should be aware of it at Seth´s teenage birthday party some years ago. (Seth is the third son Stella and Tyler have together, Samuel is the forth)
He got suspicious when he sent Tyler to Fortress Rock a year ago, where Tyler should see over an old “hotel” if they should buy it for the family business.
Tyler had done such trips before, his job was to survey houses and business premises to eventually buy for the family business.
So he went to Fortress Rock where this old “hotel” was sold by a smudgy old vampire. Tyler met him and his girlfriend in front of the brothel.
They made the deal and Tyler went back home.
The vampire than sold him some more buildings in the following year.
At least this is what Tyler thought what happened.
But Haldir instantly knew that something must have happened to Tyler which his son couldn´t remember anymore. But Haldir could feel a cold, dark presence in Tyler which he, as the fairy king, had to try to fight.
While his wife betrayed him with his brother Tyler got awful nightmares, so awful that he couldn´t sleep properly anymore. They weren´t bloody or such, they were just fragments of memories Tyler couldn´t have. He knew what he had done the last year and he knew where he had been and yet he saw pictures in his dreams which he couldn´t explain. But they felt so real, as if they had happened to him. All he saw in his dreams were flowers, a glass, a nearly naked woman and a dark door.
The door was what caused most of his fears.
He was so tired and confused that he stopped talking to anybody and just rode, in order to be faster than his dreams.
When Tyler noticed that Stella betrayed him he gave her a few chances to end her affair, but at the engagement party of their second oldest son he separated from her, after she had flirted with Thore in front of him again.
If only his dads knew what he did after that!
Tyler couldn´t think clearly anymore, something in him forced him to leave his family, the only people who he loved and who could have helped him. He hid his aura from his dads and disappeared into the night.
Tyler had run away, away from his ex-wife, from his stupid brother, his beloved sons and his parents who seemingly didn´t care for him (he thought!)
So when the household awoke after the engagement party and the separation of Tyler and Stella Haldir was in shock that his son had disappeared in the night.
Tyler´s escape led him to an old, mostly broken down shack at the sea, far away from his family. He took his best friend T-Rey, a lovely little Rottweiler, with him and nearly sentenced him to death because at one day Tyler rowed his little boat into the sea and all he wanted to do was jump into the water and let it pull him down into the deep.
But it was the thought of what would happen to T-Rey what made Tyler to turn the boat and to row back to his good boy.
Good for him that he had one good friend and even better that he came to the conclusion that he could help him to disappear from his father´s eyes, because his friend was the son of King Stein, his father´s enemy, so Tyler hoped that he could live in his kingdom, where his father couldn´t sense him.
He wasn´t aware of how irrationally he was thinking, he just wanted to hide from his dad, he thought that his dad would be very mad at him to part from Stella and to separate from the family.
So he phoned his good and only friend Alfarin, first born son of King Stein, and asked him if he could come to his dad´s kingdom.
Alfarin said yes and came to Tyler to pick him up and bring him to an island where his family had their summer residence and where he knew that there was a little island where a small house was on where Tyler could live in.
Alfarin visited Tyler from time to time to bring him some food and to look after his friend,
because he was getting more and more concerned about Tyler who got thinner and thinner and more and more addled. Furthermore it was winter and there were many heavy storms which could have blown away Tyler without somebody knowing.
So one day Alfarin made the decision to tell Tyler´s dads where their son was. He couldn´t care for his friend on his own anymore.
He visited Haldir and Travis at Northeney and told them where Tyler was and in which state he was.
Haldir instantly decided to travel to his son while Travis had to move the royal court back to Moonlight Falls and take care of their son Thore and Tyler´s children Seth and Samuel as well.
Haldir knew that he had to talk to King Stein to get the permission to get his son back, because now that Tyler was living in Stein´s kingdom he was his subject, but he just hoped that even Stein couldn´t be so stone-hardly to forbid him to take Tyler back home. (in the case that Stein would have denied the permission Haldir was followed by a warship, he was very serious in getting Tyler back and would even begin a war with Stein for his son)
Alfarin talked with his dad about the situation and Stein told him what Haldir had to do in order to get his son back, while Haldir went to see his son. He was so sad to see Tyler in his thin and exhausted state and although he disliked what Stein had told him to do he did it for his son.
He had to bend his knee in front of King Stein! This was just an affront, because Haldir was the king of all fairies since years, not only that he was much more powerful than King Stein, he was his king, so Stein´s demand was just pure harassment.
But Haldir was more than willing to do everything to get his son back and to avoid a war between his people and Stein´s because he knew he would have killed too many innocent subjects of Stein, which he didn´t want to do at all. It wasn´t their fault that Stein was such an as.....le.
So he complied to Stein´s wish and was amazed how Stein changed his behavior after that.
He even invited Haldir and Tyler to visit him and his family the next days.
So finally Haldir could take Tyler back with him, he decided against leaving instantly, because Tyler was in such a bad state that his dad wanted to nurse him back to health again before leaving.
When Stein sent them an invitation to visit him Tyler was a bit better, so he accompanied his dad.
They had to wait a bit but when Stein entered the room they were both in shock! King Stein was accompanied by the most beautiful woman they had ever seen, his daughter Sif.
She immediately began to talk to Tyler but wasn´t aware what shock she had caused in Haldir.
Not because of her beauty, but because of her face he had seen before once, namely in his forseeing. Furthermore he didn´t even know that Stein had a daughter! She had never been at the Things and Stein had never mentioned her at all! Even Alfarin didn´t talk about his sister.
While they waited for Tyler to get more healthy Haldir took the chance to get to know Sif better and fell in love with her instantly. No, not that he would ever betray his husband with her, (never!) but he loved her personality and her character.
And Tyler, well, he just fell in love with her.
It was her and Alfarin´s merit that King Stein and King Haldir got to know each other better and that Stein finally could honor Haldir to be his king. He even promised to help Haldir to heal Tyler. Stein had a very big and very old library with many very old scripts which could help Tyler to get rid off his nightmares, which he still had.
Finally, after many weeks, Haldir decided that it was safe for Tyler to travel and they traveled back home to Moonlight Falls, where their families were waiting for them.
Never in their relationship have Haldir and Travis been separated for such along time, so Travis was so happy to have his husband back, while Tyler´s boys were happy that they had their daddy back.
Only Samuel, who already was a school kid, was a bit worried about his dad. He was just a toddler when his dad (and not much later his mum) vanished from his life and he was brought up by Travis and Haldir, so he didn´t know what to expect from his dad.
But after some time he loved his dad so much, but was still worried that he could suddenly disappear from his life again. Above all because he (and the rest of the family as well) could see that Tyler didn´t get much more healthier in the next weeks.
Because Taius, Tyler´s second son, wanted to marry someone from Monte Visto in Monte Visto the family decided to spend some weeks there, Haldir had the hope that Tyler´s health would get better in the warm weather and he knew that there was a specialist who could observe his son.
So while the family spend the time with relaxing and preparations for the wedding Tyler visited the psychologist Dr Compassione to get some help with his dreams.
At one of the consultations, where Tyler got hypnotized, he died.
He could have been revived but what he could see and hear was even more frightening than just having nightmares.
He finally got aware that there was a darkness in his soul, a very hostile darkness which fed from his soul to get bigger and bigger when he was asleep. Only a little, bright light fought against this black and helped Tyler to get through the nights.
This darkness didn´t want Dr Compassione and Tyler to discover what had happened to him that the dark could enter his soul so it fought hard against the therapy so whenever the doctor tried to break through its barriers to help Tyler to fight against the black, the black caused his death.
The doctor told Haldir what he found out and a plan formed in Haldir.
But before he could put his plan into action he had to get well prepared, because the plan was very dangerous. So he brew some potions for his son to help him to stay as healthy as he could.
At some point he was so desperate that he phoned Stein, from whom he knew that he was a very knowingly alchemist, too. He helped Haldir to brew some even stronger potions for Tyler, but at some point Haldir knew that it was time for putting his plan into action.
So after Taius got married and Samuel became a teenager Haldir had the urgent feeling to get back to Moonlight Falls fastly so the family went back home where Haldir talked with his mother, the former queen, and Stein about his plan to save Tyler from the dark. Both, Stein and Freia, knew some very old stories of such a ceremony, which Haldir had in mind to do, and both told him that the king who tried to pull the dark out of someone died while doing that.
But Haldir insisted to celebrate this ceremony, he HAD to rescue his son from this entity, even if this meant that he could die.
He prepared as perfectly as possible and waited for the next new moon to try to get rid of this dark creature, which was eating his beloved son while he was still alive.
At the day of the new moon he told Tyler that it was time and they said goodbye to their family.
Then they went to the hidden fairy circle which appeared in front of them so they could enter it. They´ve changed into the traditional clothes and the trees behind them enclosed them in the fairy ring. When it was time Haldir intoned the ancient words which led Tyler into a state where the dark took over his body and soul, where Tyler had to die and where Haldir, as the king of all fairies, had to fill him with his own life essence. This was the most dangerous part of the already dangerous ceremony and it could have gone wrong in so many ways.
While Haldir bemoaned his dead son Tyler found himself in the dark intermundia where every dead soul is led to by Grim and where it is decided if the soul could enter the light or if it has to stay in the dark for eternity.
While in the dark Tyler suddenly got back all his memories and what had happened to him that this dark entity could clinch to him. He also got aware that the dark intermundia was not only filled with lost souls but that there was living this dangerous creature which fed from people´s souls to get bigger and stronger to such a state that it could overtake the living body of the died soul.
While he was in the intermundia he saw the white light which called him and which pulled him to it.
But he could hear something else: a soft, but strong, beautiful voice, such as beautiful as the most beautiful Christmas bells, and it was calling for him, too.
He suddenly knew that this voice was there to help him out of the dark and he turned away from heaven´s light and followed the voice until he could see a much brighter and much more beautiful light which enclosed him when he reached it. He suddenly realized that the light, which had protected him in the last months and which now enclosed him to help him get back to his life, was Sif, his beautiful, beloved Sif!
He couldn´t believe what she did for him, because he knew that she had to die to follow him into the dark. She then told him to go back to his body and that his dad was waiting for him. He didn´t want to leave her, in fear that she could be torn apart from the entity which obviously came to get them.
But she forced him to get back.
After he had slept for a few days his dads told him what had happened and that they could tell him that Sif survived as well!
She and his dad had formed a plan as soon as Haldir and Sif met the first time.
It turned out that Sif was born just because she had to help Tyler when he needed her help. She was aware of her fate from the beginning of her life and was relieved when she got the pull to help Tyler and to protect him from the dark. She always knew that she had to die to help him and was more than willing to do that. When she met Haldir and Tyler at the summer castle of her father she knew that she had to tell Haldir her story.
Haldir couldn´t accept her help for some time but she convinced him that only she could help him to be successful. So he made a plan for Tyler´s rescue in which Sif hopefully wouldn't´t die. He believed that every forseeing was just a rough guideline and that everyone could change his fate if he/she wanted.
He made the plan that she should die but that she should either play chess with Grim or present a Death Flower to him so he let her live again.
She decided for a Death Flower so after she died she presented the flower to Grim who was so exulted for this present that he didn´t take her soul and she was alive again.
Of course Tyler wanted to visit Sif and because King Stein already had invited the family to his kingdom they traveled to Ent the next day.
Tyler and Sif were happy to see each other alive and well and couldn´t keep their fingers from each other and spend as much time alone together as possible.
It was then when Tyler told Sif his story and why he was clinched to the dark creature.
When he was in Fortress Rock the girlfriend of the smudgy vampire bewitched him and put a love spell on him. She also took care of his memories and changed them so that he wasn´t aware that he had a love affair with her during the time he visited Fortress Rock “to buy” some properties for the family business.
They´ve spent the days and nights together
without him knowing that he betrayed Stella when he was back home.
One day she came to him, pretending that her boyfriend had beaten her.
Of course Tyler wanted to help her to leave this thug so he followed her to the house she was living in with this vampire from whom she told Tyler that he wasn´t at home at that moment to take some personal things for her.
But of course this was a trap.
The vampire waited for Tyler, he wanted to drink from him and to make him to his puppet, he wanted to hold him to ransom Haldir, but while biting Tyler something went wrong and Tyler died. He carried a Death Flower in his pocket, something Haldir wanted all his kids to do, and presented it to Grim.
But the few moments he had to spend in the interworld the dark creature found him and clinched to him, maybe because Tyler was full of hate for the vampire and his b....?
This b... then got a bad conscience that she had helped to kidnap Tyler so she helped him to flee. She also tried to take away her memory blocking from him but that was somehow not successful so she let him have his changed memories and that is where Tyler started to get his nightmares.
Now, after he was rescued from the dark by his dad and the love of his life, Sif, he could remember everything again.
During the short stay he and Sif made plans to meet again in Aurora Falls in the holidays, because Samuel had asked his dad to go to a cooking school there.
So they met again a few weeks later. When Sif and Alfarin, who wanted to visit his friend as well, arrived they were shocked that Tyler had lost weight again and it was obvious that he suffered from his past still. Alfarin, who is one of the best alchemists, instantly began to brew a potion that should finally help Tyler to get back to his former health.
While in Aurora Falls Sif noticed that something had changed in Tyler´s behavior towards her. He still loved her, at least he said so, but he became more and more unresponsive to her.
Alfarin, on the other hand, met his soulmate, Milton.
This is where we left Tyler, Sif, Alfarin and Samuel.

I loved seeing the pictures too!
One gave me a nice giggle where Stella and Tyler are arguing, Thore is behind them, totally bored and yawning and Haldir and Travis in the background are embracing and flirting! I love it!
I loved seeing Alfarin again and how he tried so hard to help Tyler! I fell in love with him then. He was so sweet and gorgeous as well.
I still totally love Tyler with all his scruffiness from living on the island. He is gorgeous to me as well, just in a different way from Alfarin.
The meeting with SIf! Remember how I guessed they would end up together. I'm clairvoyant like that...sometimes.
My heart hurts for him and what he went through as well as for Haldir and Sif as they worked together to bring him back.
I sure hope whatever is going on now blows over quickly so they can get on with their lives together. Tyler deserves true happiness and no more strife in his life. Fix it!
Everybody was waiting impatiently for the strength potion for Tyler to be ready.
Samuel, Alfarin and Sif were very concerned about Tyler´s state, they could see that he was clearly fighting with his inner soul again. He got thinner in the last few weeks and since a few days he fell back in his old, avoidance behavior and began to run away. This time there weren´t any horses he could jump on so he began to jogg around the town.
Every morning, very early, when the others were still sleeping he woke up, put on his sportswear and left the house.
He tried to be very sneaky but Sif woke up soon after he left the bedroom every time. Sometimes she just stayed in bed, crying for him and for their relationship.
Sometimes she hurried after him, trying to stop him from running and talking to him about his problems but he was faster than her all the time.
Sometimes she just waited for him in the entrance hall, alone with her thoughts and her fears of losing him. She was so afraid of losing him! She knew that he had done this running away before, when he was full of nightmares and pain, but she didn´t know why he had the need to run away now? Did he run away from her? From her desire to live together with him and to marry him and to be a family? But he had said that he wanted to be with her and that he already planned their future and that he was already renovating a house in Moonlight Falls to live together in!
So why did he isolate? What was going on in him?
She was so worried, full of fear and desperation.
Whenever Alfarin was at home and sensed the desperation of his sister he tried to build up her courage again.
He talked to her about his experience with Tyler and that he would suggest to her that she should call Haldir or Travis to tell them what happened to Tyler and what they would suggest her to do.
He knew that Tyler´s dads would know in which state their son was in again and that they would have a solution for her.
One day, she had waited for Tyler to come home, again, she wanted to talk to him about his need to run.
But as soon as she wanted to know what was wrong with him he snapped and called her too curious and too personal, that it wasn´t her business what he was doing.
"Leave me alone, I´m not good for us," was the last what she could heard from him.
Then he ran away again.
After that she had the strong need to cry out loud but she pulled herself together and dialed Haldir´s number. "I didn´t die for him just to be pushed away from him!" she thought while waiting for Haldir to answer her call.
"Hi, my light, nice to hear from you," when she heard Haldir´s soft voice she began to cry again.
"Sif, sweety, what is wrong? Why do you cry? Please, don´t cry anymore, my girl. Yes, Travis, it´s Sif. Sif, can I make the phone louder so Travis can listen as well?"
"Yes, that would be good", she sniffled, feeling a bit better already, hearing Haldir´s voice.
"Hello my dear, what is wrong?" she could hear the worried voice of her "adopted, soon to be" papa and she could cry out even more because she could feel and hear the love in his voice and she felt so lonely right now!
"It´s Tyler. He-"
"What did he do now? I´ll kill him again if he hurt you!" Haldir got miffed about his reluctant son.
"No, don´t Haldir, don´t kill him! I- well, I can´t live without him."
"I know, my girl, I am just so angry about the boy that he had made you cry! So, can you tell us what is wrong?"
And she told Tyler´s parents what happened every morning and that he didn´t come home before lunch. And that he was getting thinner again and that he didn´t want to talk with her or Alfarin anymore. And that they haven´t, uhm, had woohooed since days now.
Haldir and Travis listened with more and more concern.
"You´ve said you can´t feel the darkness in him anymore. Was that right? Or is there some left in him?" Travis asked his husband.
"No, there isn´t even the slightest bit of it in him anymore. I suggest that it is him himself and his worries and his depression which lets him run away," Haldir said.
"Sif, is the potion ready for him to drink?"
"Nearly. Alfarin said that he can drink it in a few days."
"Ok, then tell Alfarin that he has to mix another potion which he has to give Tyler soon after the strength potion, ok? I´ll send him the formula, but I am quite sure he knows it."
"What is it?"
"It lifts his mood and hopefully tears him out of his depression. I know that it can help him, I just hope that he isn´t too deep in his own misery. I gave him that potion from his early teenage years on whenever he slid deeper into his depression. He didn´t know that and I hope you won´t tell him, he already is angry at me still, he would get mad if he knew what I did to help him."
"No, I won´t tell him, dad, so when he has drunken that and the strengthen potion he will be alright again?”
"He will be a bit better, that´s for sure!" Haldir said.
"But I am afraid that you have still talk to him about his behavior and that it hurts you so much, my dear," Travis told her. "He is deaf of others and himself sometimes and sometimes he is just numb inside, so he has to get pulled out of this state again. I always tried that by telling him how T-Rey loved him and that he couldn´t live without his love. And I highly believe that, if you tell him that you are so sad and lonely without him, that this will have the same effect on him. Tell him how you love him and that he is loved by all of us and by T-Rey, I hope that this will wake him up."
"Ok, then I have to talk to him again, right?"
"You have to, I am afraid, my dear, and I guess that this won´t change during the many years you´ll be together with him. He is sick, this depression has screwed him up, and I am afraid that when you really want to spend the rest of your life with him you have to find a way to arrange yourself with this sh...t."
She could hear the sorrow and the compassion in Travis´voice.
"Would you like us to come?" Haldir asked.
"Hm, I really would like to have you with us, but I think I have to try to get through him on my own at first. Can I call you again if I need your help?"
"Ach, of course you can, you don´t have to ask, my girl, you can phone us whenever you want, no matter the time or place, my love!" Haldir´s voice was as soft and compassionate that she had to cry again.
"Ok, then I´ll talk to him again."
"Do that and then you phone us again and tell us how the talk went, ok?"
"This I will do! Thank you so much for your help!"
"Not for this, my light, not for this," and with this words Haldir hung up and she was alone with her worried thoughts.

When he came home he seemed to be in a good mood.
So she told him that she wanted him to talk about his fears and why he was running away from her.
And was shocked about his aggressive reaction. He yelled at her that she didn´t have to stick her nose into his business!
Then he went upstairs and she could hear him closing the door behind him and locking it.
She broke down and cried again.
Alfarin could hear his sister cry and comforted her. She told him that she had talked with Haldir and he promised her to brew the potion instantly. After making sure that she was better he went upstairs, too.
And then she could hear him knocking harshly at Tyler´s door.
She couldn´t hear if Tyler let him in or if Alfarin had to leave him and she didn´t want to know it anymore. She was so exhausted that she took a nap in the fairy house, trying to sooth her worried mind by feeling the soft and cold leaf-bed under her aching body and soul.

Yes, I really had the hope that his dads would react of him splitting up with Stella, they were in THE SAME ROOM after all! But they only had eyes for themselves, as always!
And moreover there was this underdressed townie photobombing the divorce! Gosh, how I would have liked to delete her!
I´ve tried to send her home when Stella and Thore began to smoch in front of Tyler again, but she was still thinking about the way out of this small room when Tyler had enough and began to argue with Stella...
And his dads were kissing.... what a surreal scenery...
Gosh, of course I remember that you gave me nightmares! I was so proud of me that I wrote the story and that I had avoided to tell everybody that both of them fell in love instantly and you just told me that she would be his perfect girl friend!

So, after getting off the phone what does she do, instead of telling him how much she loves him and the others love him as Haldir suggested she berates him for running off and not talking to her. oh dear. Sif is very hurt by his behavior and not her usual smart self. Haldir and Travis are very much needed!

@bekkasan : of course I know "The Man in Black"! He was such a great singer! I didn´t hear him when I was young, though, because I´ve listened to other radio stations which played my kind of music. Moreover he wasn´t played much in the 70´s, 80´s and 90´s in Germany. I stumbled over his music when I was watching "Stargate: Atlantis". There is one episode where a song of him was played and I loved it! And so I began to listen to his music. Now I love his new and his old songs!
So I don´t live under a stone when it comes to music, but with your music suggestions I get to know a whole new form of music, because when country is played here it is just the old music from Johnny Cash or John Denver or Dolly Parton (what a great person!!).
Yes, from outside I would like to smack Tyler (and others who are deep in their depression) but I know from my own experience that this wouldn´t help at all. When the depression has you under control you are deaf to everyone and numb inside.
So it didn´t matter if Sif had hugged him or if she argued with him, he would always have reacted like he did with running away from everything that wants to break his cage.
I would say that he needs professional help, his family can´t help him much. The only thing his dad could do was brewing this potion which is obviously is a kind of antidepressant. But with the things he was going through I would think that this antidepressant won´t help anymore, he MUST talk about his problems with someone professional. Dr Compassione is still in Moonlight Falls, I soo hope that he is willing to have his therapy sessions!
His dads know that he had depressions from his teenage years on and they could handle him with being very attentive and with giving him this potion, because he was fighting for not having the needed help.
It got better, though, when he became YA, but the happenings which he had to experience during the last two years pushed him deep into a black hole from which he couldn´t get out atm.
I just hope that Haldir and Travis can help him when they arrive.

Ok, where to start... Yes, Tyler had run away from his first wife as well. Buuuut: their relationship wasn´t as good as it was before and he was betrayed by her WITH HIS BROTHER. Moreover he didn´t feel good, but didn´t get any help from her at all.
One of the reasons to run away from her was that he didn´t want to snap as he did with Sif, because he still loved her.
He loves Sif more than Stella (and much, much more than himself!!!!), but he is in fear that he has to go through all the bad things he had gone through again. And because he didn´t learn to talk about his problems he doesn´t know better than running away from all problems. He knows that that led to the break up with Stella, but he can´t change.... he is imprisoned in his cage of fear. The biggest fear is to lose Sif, but he still is not able to talk to her..... He didn´t want to be bad to her so he ran away, but when she faced him with this he couldn´t get away from her fastly enough so he snapped. And he knows that this was sooo wrong, that is why he ran away from her. See the awful circle he is trapped in??
He knows that she died for him and that she loves him and he knows that he is an a$$hole when he argues with her, but he can´t do better...
Furthermore he still thinks that he is not good enough for her....
So although I am sorry for Sif, I am much more sorry for Tyler. (and I can understand him soooo much...!!!)
He isn´t bad at all! He is a sweet, frightened, confused and lonely man. Who doesn´t understand that all the people surrounding him love him from the bottom of their hearts. As said, he thinks so bad of himself that he can´t even imagine that people love him and care for him.

Change can onlu come from within, yes others can help but essentially, up to the individual? So It probably can only start from self, especially if he keeps being so mean to everyone who tries to help him and then runs away. I don't know the ultimate answer.
One question, Does he get a Benefit from all the running? It Looks like he doesn't get a benefit from it because he is crabby and abusive again right after he returns, so that leads me to ask will he finally learn It is only Logical that if one keeps doing the same thing day after day and always getting the same crappy results will he ever think ''ummm this isn't working, and my legs are sore and now I need new running shoes."... well you get my meaning. He is genius/logical no? Or is he absent minded and forgets that running is useless? I know! In that state of mind there is no logic, it is all mind trips and emotion! A horrible nightmare!

No. He began to run/ride away after he came home from Fortress Rock where he betrayed Stella without knowing that and because a love spell was put on him. Additionally his memeories were (badly) manipulated so he HAD some feelings he knew he wasn´t supposed to have. Moreover their relationship was already becoming bad even before he travelled to Fortress Rock. Stella became pregnant BECAUSE shje wanted to patch up their marriage somehow, which didn´t work. (a kid should never be made just to patch up a marriage!!!)
So no wonder that Tyler wasn´t interested in her pregnancy, because he felt hate for her (because of his badly hidden memories and that she tried to have the baby against his will).
And then she began to betray him.
I don´t think he withdrew love first, it just happened that all the happenings appeared to be at the same time.

As far as I know this promise is just a promise. You can´t stay together just because you promised when you don´t love the other anymore.
And as I already explained: he didn´t want the child (now he is sooo happy to have Samuel, though!!), she just used the baby as a tool to get him back. That is not ok, for both of them!
Yes, he punishes someone for something with withdrawing his love and that is not good at all! I don´t know hwre he learned that, but it is nothing he learned at home when he was a child. So it has to be learned while being together with Stella. So here is the question: who began first??? Unfortunately I didn´t write the story from the beginning, because it changed a bit from a travel diary to a real story so when the splitting of Stella and him began I didn´t write about it. Sorry, that is my fault for being such a bad writer at the beginning!
I know how Stella behaved even before she turned to Thore so just believe me that there were problems in their relationship even before he went to see the bbl.

I think that I didn´t write that out very good, so blame it on the author!
But: I don´t want to try to convince you to love him! He behaves like an a$$hole right now! Furthermore you can feel whatever you want to feel about my Sims, because evryone has made different experiences in life and feels different for the same type of character trait, so of course one can like someone whereas another one could hate the same person!

As for Stella and Tyler, they are who they are, they aren't good together, and I don't pick sides when reading.
Whatever Tyler is, he has the blessings of a large extended family.
Most of them very much follow their own way, and make their own mistakes and accomplishments.

Tyler didn´t even react to Stella giving birth, they had been arguing about her getting pregnant without his permisson a lot before.
Sorry that I didn´t write that, I thought that pictures told about it.
At that moment in the story I wasn´t sure if I should go on with the travel diary and the captions to the pictures or if I should try to really write a story.
So I didn´t really write about all the things which went on in the story.
“One day, short after Seth´s birthday, Stella decided that the family should go to the festival, which took place at the island. Because it was late in the summer and the school already had begun and the island wasn´t flooded with tourists anymore Tyler agreed to go to the festival. He suggested that Stella wanted to go, because she was getting more and more frustrated, because Taius didn´t even think of going out to get to know somebody!
Secretly he felt sorry for his son, because Stella was like a little pitbull, which got stuck on the neck of it´s prey! And he was shortly before freaking out and argue with her, something he rarely does, normally he is a totally relaxed man who rests in himself, but Stella was driving him crazy!”
Here it is said how he reacts to her. He knew that if he talked to her that she would start to argue with him again. He doesn´t like to argue, he doesn´t like tension.
Tyler even kisses her in front of his brother to make clear that she is HIS wife. He didn´t know how to react to his little brother. He loved him but he was angry about him that he was so fond of his wife. From the beginning he watched over the two and was getting more and more distraught about them.

From this moment on Stella knew about Haldir´s foreseeing, so she knew BEFORE Tyler got to know BBL and got in trouble with the dark and BBL.
and you remember their travel to Monte Vista? Where Taius got to know his future husband? The family lived in two houses, not because they wanted, but they needed, because of Thore...
When Thore and Stella flirted in front of him and Travis Stella begged for forgiveness and Tyler really forgave her, and this happened many times. I should have written out this much better!!!

He was stunned about his father, he always thought that he was a man with good morals, but giving in to a cheater??? He was confused! If only his parents had parted before! He knew that they hadn´t had the same lovingly feelings towards each other anymore, so why didn´t they just broke up? Why was his father so passive? And why had his mother chosen Thore for her little game??? He hoped that he could talk with his grandfathers about the incident as soon as Travis had calmed down a bit and Haldir was home again! (normally he would have talked with his beloved father about such problems but this was no option at the moment, Seth needed an explanation about the whole situation and he knew that only his granddads could explain what was going on and what would happen now. And his dad was gone, he had taken one of the horses again! And he couldn´t stand his mother now, he thought that it was her behaviour that made everything broken!)
Here you can see that Tyler didn´t know what to do anymore. He had talked to her, forgave her and she still flirted with Thore.
So there were a lot of forgiveness from the side of Tyler and nothing to try to restore their relationship by Stella. I am a bit angry about myself that I couldn´t/didn´t write it out better. Sorry for that.

Unfortunately it is the author who sometimes doesn´t like women and writes bad about women sometimes. I tend to idealize men more.... My fault, I am sorry for that and try to change!!!
Travis and Haldir talked to her because they had TWO boys with whom she "played" with and they were very concerned for them. They´ve told her that she had to decide what she wanted to do, they wanted to make her decide what she wanted to do, and they wanted from her to not hurt their sons!!!! What she did with her behavior.
Moreover Haldir told her about the foreseeing again and asked if she had forgotten it or if she only ignored it, to the sorrow of Tyler...
Travis wanted her to leave the family, but Haldir just wanted her to DECIDE between them both.
Not the best way to deal with the problems, but they didn´t care for her so much as they cared for their sons.
Haldir didn´t mind if she had to leave the family or not, he just wanted to protect his family.
They watched their sons and how they´ve dealt with that awful situation and Haldir wanted to intervene muche earlier, but Travis told him that Tyler and Stella had to find a way on their own....
Tyler and Stella talked alot during that time but somehow they didn´t talk TOGETHER but at cross purposes.

Oh yes, that picture! As you can see, it is a very new one, it is after Tyler´s illness, he changed to a short haircut, he likes his new hairstyle. And it is a relatively new picture, because you can see a new tattoo on his left neck/throat(from his point of view).
Before he had a bit longer hair! So both brothers looked very much alike....somehow....in my eyes... 😜

I just started at the first link and am re-reading All without stopping! I can't believe so much of what I am reading now seems to have different and so much stronger meaning to me Now than when I first read it! You know, I enjoy Timon so much because he looks so elegant and graceful but he does have the slob trait which is so funny when put together with his beautiful face!

Haldir was very angry about that unfinished crown and that Travis could be crowned a few years after at the next Thing. He really has a temper some times and some of his subjects are very afrqid if him. Especially the ones who made big mistakes and didn´t tell him about that.
He never was/is unfair, he just hates imperfection and inability. He always expects perfection and can´t stand people who don´t give 100%.
He got a bit more relaxed in the last years, but his children could be very lucky that he made an exception with them. With his kids he was always very soft and understandingly, with them he was the more laid back parent!
Although Tyler and Thor would say that he was a very strict and demanding dad, always wanting them to be the best and to give more than 100%. Maybe this is why Tyler thinks that he isn´t a good man? That he feels so inaptly?
Oh, this is a picture I´ve always missed, too, the one where they wave their hand behind their back to destroy the fart!!!

Right now I am working on a "short" summary of what has happened to Tyler before he had to be killed by his dad. "Short" because I have selected 104 pictures for being worth of being shown in that retrospect/summary..... as always I have too many pictures and too many things in my head which I want to tell and show and too less time and to much inability to get it shortened....

They´ve got 13 kids during the last centuries, most of them have children, grand children and even grand-grand children on their own now.
Most of their kids didn´t cause any problems or troubles, most of them were well-behaved and good in school. (of course they had the usual teenage problems and some of them were more rebellious than others, but all in all they were nice and easy going)
Of course some had troubles in life such as divorce or wrong jobs and such, but they could always depend on their dads and their siblings to help them.
But their youngest and their second youngest kids (Thore and Tyler)
brought them into lots of trouble.
It all began when Thore became a young adult.
Even as a teen he had a crush on Tyler´s wife Stella,
but he didn´t make a move towards her, because of his lack of confidence and the knowing that she clearly wasn´t interested in teenagers.
But when he became 18 he had the confidence to begin to flirt with her.
And she responded!
Haldir and Travis were aware of the situation and told Thore to stop the flirting, at that time they were living together with Tyler and his little family at Tyler´s stud farm at Northeney.
They also told Stella to stand by her husband and to stop flirting with Thore, but neither Thore nor Stella listened to them.
It wasn´t clear for his dads if Tyler was aware of the flirting and if he just ignored it or if he didn´t know. At that time he wasn´t home very often, whenever he had time he jumped on his favorite horse and rode across the island.
Although Stella got pregnant with their forth child, a baby boy later called Samuel, he didn´t spend much time with her. This was completely different the three pregnancies before where he was so caring for her.
But all it seemed he cared for at the time where she was pregnant with Samuel was riding and getting away from her.
So Stella turned to Thore who was more than willing to begin a love affair with her, maybe because he liked her or just because she was the only woman within his reach?
Only Haldir knew what Tyler was going through, he knew that Tyler had much bigger and more severe problems than being betrayed by his wife, but he knew that he just could try to protect him in secret, well-knowing that his son wouldn´t like to be helped by him. (this was the reason why he had moved the court to Northeney, to take care of his son)
Haldir had a providence of some of the things which happened to Tyler. But he didn´t know what caused his foreseeing and what events lead to Tyler´s and Stella´s split, he just knew that he had to be with his son when the forseeing took place.
He even told Stella what he had seen and that she should be aware of it at Seth´s teenage birthday party some years ago. (Seth is the third son Stella and Tyler have together, Samuel is the forth)
He got suspicious when he sent Tyler to Fortress Rock a year ago, where Tyler should see over an old “hotel” if they should buy it for the family business.
Tyler had done such trips before, his job was to survey houses and business premises to eventually buy for the family business.
So he went to Fortress Rock where this old “hotel” was sold by a smudgy old vampire. Tyler met him and his girlfriend in front of the brothel.
They made the deal and Tyler went back home.
The vampire than sold him some more buildings in the following year.
At least this is what Tyler thought what happened.
But Haldir instantly knew that something must have happened to Tyler which his son couldn´t remember anymore. But Haldir could feel a cold, dark presence in Tyler which he, as the fairy king, had to try to fight.
While his wife betrayed him with his brother Tyler got awful nightmares, so awful that he couldn´t sleep properly anymore. They weren´t bloody or such, they were just fragments of memories Tyler couldn´t have. He knew what he had done the last year and he knew where he had been and yet he saw pictures in his dreams which he couldn´t explain. But they felt so real, as if they had happened to him. All he saw in his dreams were flowers, a glass, a nearly naked woman and a dark door.
The door was what caused most of his fears.
He was so tired and confused that he stopped talking to anybody and just rode, in order to be faster than his dreams.
When Tyler noticed that Stella betrayed him he gave her a few chances to end her affair, but at the engagement party of their second oldest son he separated from her, after she had flirted with Thore in front of him again.
If only his dads knew what he did after that!
Tyler couldn´t think clearly anymore, something in him forced him to leave his family, the only people who he loved and who could have helped him. He hid his aura from his dads and disappeared into the night.
Tyler had run away, away from his ex-wife, from his stupid brother, his beloved sons and his parents who seemingly didn´t care for him (he thought!)
So when the household awoke after the engagement party and the separation of Tyler and Stella Haldir was in shock that his son had disappeared in the night.
Tyler´s escape led him to an old, mostly broken down shack at the sea, far away from his family. He took his best friend T-Rey, a lovely little Rottweiler, with him and nearly sentenced him to death because at one day Tyler rowed his little boat into the sea and all he wanted to do was jump into the water and let it pull him down into the deep.
But it was the thought of what would happen to T-Rey what made Tyler to turn the boat and to row back to his good boy.
Good for him that he had one good friend and even better that he came to the conclusion that he could help him to disappear from his father´s eyes, because his friend was the son of King Stein, his father´s enemy, so Tyler hoped that he could live in his kingdom, where his father couldn´t sense him.
He wasn´t aware of how irrationally he was thinking, he just wanted to hide from his dad, he thought that his dad would be very mad at him to part from Stella and to separate from the family.
So he phoned his good and only friend Alfarin, first born son of King Stein, and asked him if he could come to his dad´s kingdom.
Alfarin said yes and came to Tyler to pick him up and bring him to an island where his family had their summer residence and where he knew that there was a little island where a small house was on where Tyler could live in.
Alfarin visited Tyler from time to time to bring him some food and to look after his friend,
because he was getting more and more concerned about Tyler who got thinner and thinner and more and more addled. Furthermore it was winter and there were many heavy storms which could have blown away Tyler without somebody knowing.
So one day Alfarin made the decision to tell Tyler´s dads where their son was. He couldn´t care for his friend on his own anymore.
He visited Haldir and Travis at Northeney and told them where Tyler was and in which state he was.
Haldir instantly decided to travel to his son while Travis had to move the royal court back to Moonlight Falls and take care of their son Thore and Tyler´s children Seth and Samuel as well.
Haldir knew that he had to talk to King Stein to get the permission to get his son back, because now that Tyler was living in Stein´s kingdom he was his subject, but he just hoped that even Stein couldn´t be so stone-hardly to forbid him to take Tyler back home. (in the case that Stein would have denied the permission Haldir was followed by a warship, he was very serious in getting Tyler back and would even begin a war with Stein for his son)
Alfarin talked with his dad about the situation and Stein told him what Haldir had to do in order to get his son back, while Haldir went to see his son. He was so sad to see Tyler in his thin and exhausted state and although he disliked what Stein had told him to do he did it for his son.
He had to bend his knee in front of King Stein! This was just an affront, because Haldir was the king of all fairies since years, not only that he was much more powerful than King Stein, he was his king, so Stein´s demand was just pure harassment.
But Haldir was more than willing to do everything to get his son back and to avoid a war between his people and Stein´s because he knew he would have killed too many innocent subjects of Stein, which he didn´t want to do at all. It wasn´t their fault that Stein was such an as.....le.
So he complied to Stein´s wish and was amazed how Stein changed his behavior after that.
He even invited Haldir and Tyler to visit him and his family the next days.
So finally Haldir could take Tyler back with him, he decided against leaving instantly, because Tyler was in such a bad state that his dad wanted to nurse him back to health again before leaving.
When Stein sent them an invitation to visit him Tyler was a bit better, so he accompanied his dad.
They had to wait a bit but when Stein entered the room they were both in shock! King Stein was accompanied by the most beautiful woman they had ever seen, his daughter Sif.
She immediately began to talk to Tyler but wasn´t aware what shock she had caused in Haldir.
Not because of her beauty, but because of her face he had seen before once, namely in his forseeing. Furthermore he didn´t even know that Stein had a daughter! She had never been at the Things and Stein had never mentioned her at all! Even Alfarin didn´t talk about his sister.
While they waited for Tyler to get more healthy Haldir took the chance to get to know Sif better and fell in love with her instantly. No, not that he would ever betray his husband with her, (never!) but he loved her personality and her character.
And Tyler, well, he just fell in love with her.
It was her and Alfarin´s merit that King Stein and King Haldir got to know each other better and that Stein finally could honor Haldir to be his king. He even promised to help Haldir to heal Tyler. Stein had a very big and very old library with many very old scripts which could help Tyler to get rid off his nightmares, which he still had.
Finally, after many weeks, Haldir decided that it was safe for Tyler to travel and they traveled back home to Moonlight Falls, where their families were waiting for them.
Never in their relationship have Haldir and Travis been separated for such along time, so Travis was so happy to have his husband back, while Tyler´s boys were happy that they had their daddy back.
Only Samuel, who already was a school kid, was a bit worried about his dad. He was just a toddler when his dad (and not much later his mum) vanished from his life and he was brought up by Travis and Haldir, so he didn´t know what to expect from his dad.
But after some time he loved his dad so much, but was still worried that he could suddenly disappear from his life again. Above all because he (and the rest of the family as well) could see that Tyler didn´t get much more healthier in the next weeks.
Because Taius, Tyler´s second son, wanted to marry someone from Monte Visto in Monte Visto the family decided to spend some weeks there, Haldir had the hope that Tyler´s health would get better in the warm weather and he knew that there was a specialist who could observe his son.
So while the family spend the time with relaxing and preparations for the wedding Tyler visited the psychologist Dr Compassione to get some help with his dreams.
At one of the consultations, where Tyler got hypnotized, he died.
He could have been revived but what he could see and hear was even more frightening than just having nightmares.
He finally got aware that there was a darkness in his soul, a very hostile darkness which fed from his soul to get bigger and bigger when he was asleep. Only a little, bright light fought against this black and helped Tyler to get through the nights.
This darkness didn´t want Dr Compassione and Tyler to discover what had happened to him that the dark could enter his soul so it fought hard against the therapy so whenever the doctor tried to break through its barriers to help Tyler to fight against the black, the black caused his death.
The doctor told Haldir what he found out and a plan formed in Haldir.
But before he could put his plan into action he had to get well prepared, because the plan was very dangerous. So he brew some potions for his son to help him to stay as healthy as he could.
At some point he was so desperate that he phoned Stein, from whom he knew that he was a very knowingly alchemist, too. He helped Haldir to brew some even stronger potions for Tyler, but at some point Haldir knew that it was time for putting his plan into action.
So after Taius got married and Samuel became a teenager Haldir had the urgent feeling to get back to Moonlight Falls fastly so the family went back home where Haldir talked with his mother, the former queen, and Stein about his plan to save Tyler from the dark. Both, Stein and Freia, knew some very old stories of such a ceremony, which Haldir had in mind to do, and both told him that the king who tried to pull the dark out of someone died while doing that.
But Haldir insisted to celebrate this ceremony, he HAD to rescue his son from this entity, even if this meant that he could die.
He prepared as perfectly as possible and waited for the next new moon to try to get rid of this dark creature, which was eating his beloved son while he was still alive.
At the day of the new moon he told Tyler that it was time and they said goodbye to their family.
Then they went to the hidden fairy circle which appeared in front of them so they could enter it. They´ve changed into the traditional clothes and the trees behind them enclosed them in the fairy ring. When it was time Haldir intoned the ancient words which led Tyler into a state where the dark took over his body and soul, where Tyler had to die and where Haldir, as the king of all fairies, had to fill him with his own life essence. This was the most dangerous part of the already dangerous ceremony and it could have gone wrong in so many ways.
While Haldir bemoaned his dead son Tyler found himself in the dark intermundia where every dead soul is led to by Grim and where it is decided if the soul could enter the light or if it has to stay in the dark for eternity.
While in the dark Tyler suddenly got back all his memories and what had happened to him that this dark entity could clinch to him. He also got aware that the dark intermundia was not only filled with lost souls but that there was living this dangerous creature which fed from people´s souls to get bigger and stronger to such a state that it could overtake the living body of the died soul.
While he was in the intermundia he saw the white light which called him and which pulled him to it.
But he could hear something else: a soft, but strong, beautiful voice, such as beautiful as the most beautiful Christmas bells, and it was calling for him, too.
He suddenly knew that this voice was there to help him out of the dark and he turned away from heaven´s light and followed the voice until he could see a much brighter and much more beautiful light which enclosed him when he reached it. He suddenly realized that the light, which had protected him in the last months and which now enclosed him to help him get back to his life, was Sif, his beautiful, beloved Sif!
He couldn´t believe what she did for him, because he knew that she had to die to follow him into the dark. She then told him to go back to his body and that his dad was waiting for him. He didn´t want to leave her, in fear that she could be torn apart from the entity which obviously came to get them.
But she forced him to get back.
After he had slept for a few days his dads told him what had happened and that they could tell him that Sif survived as well!
She and his dad had formed a plan as soon as Haldir and Sif met the first time.
It turned out that Sif was born just because she had to help Tyler when he needed her help. She was aware of her fate from the beginning of her life and was relieved when she got the pull to help Tyler and to protect him from the dark. She always knew that she had to die to help him and was more than willing to do that. When she met Haldir and Tyler at the summer castle of her father she knew that she had to tell Haldir her story.
Haldir couldn´t accept her help for some time but she convinced him that only she could help him to be successful. So he made a plan for Tyler´s rescue in which Sif hopefully wouldn't´t die. He believed that every forseeing was just a rough guideline and that everyone could change his fate if he/she wanted.
He made the plan that she should die but that she should either play chess with Grim or present a Death Flower to him so he let her live again.
She decided for a Death Flower so after she died she presented the flower to Grim who was so exulted for this present that he didn´t take her soul and she was alive again.
Of course Tyler wanted to visit Sif and because King Stein already had invited the family to his kingdom they traveled to Ent the next day.
Tyler and Sif were happy to see each other alive and well and couldn´t keep their fingers from each other and spend as much time alone together as possible.
It was then when Tyler told Sif his story and why he was clinched to the dark creature.
When he was in Fortress Rock the girlfriend of the smudgy vampire bewitched him and put a love spell on him. She also took care of his memories and changed them so that he wasn´t aware that he had a love affair with her during the time he visited Fortress Rock “to buy” some properties for the family business.
They´ve spent the days and nights together
without him knowing that he betrayed Stella when he was back home.
One day she came to him, pretending that her boyfriend had beaten her.
Of course Tyler wanted to help her to leave this thug so he followed her to the house she was living in with this vampire from whom she told Tyler that he wasn´t at home at that moment to take some personal things for her.
But of course this was a trap.
The vampire waited for Tyler, he wanted to drink from him and to make him to his puppet, he wanted to hold him to ransom Haldir, but while biting Tyler something went wrong and Tyler died. He carried a Death Flower in his pocket, something Haldir wanted all his kids to do, and presented it to Grim.
But the few moments he had to spend in the interworld the dark creature found him and clinched to him, maybe because Tyler was full of hate for the vampire and his b....?
This b... then got a bad conscience that she had helped to kidnap Tyler so she helped him to flee. She also tried to take away her memory blocking from him but that was somehow not successful so she let him have his changed memories and that is where Tyler started to get his nightmares.
Now, after he was rescued from the dark by his dad and the love of his life, Sif, he could remember everything again.
During the short stay he and Sif made plans to meet again in Aurora Falls in the holidays, because Samuel had asked his dad to go to a cooking school there.
So they met again a few weeks later. When Sif and Alfarin, who wanted to visit his friend as well, arrived they were shocked that Tyler had lost weight again and it was obvious that he suffered from his past still. Alfarin, who is one of the best alchemists, instantly began to brew a potion that should finally help Tyler to get back to his former health.
While in Aurora Falls Sif noticed that something had changed in Tyler´s behavior towards her. He still loved her, at least he said so, but he became more and more unresponsive to her.
Alfarin, on the other hand, met his soulmate, Milton.
This is where we left Tyler, Sif, Alfarin and Samuel.

One gave me a nice giggle where Stella and Tyler are arguing, Thore is behind them, totally bored and yawning and Haldir and Travis in the background are embracing and flirting! I love it!
I loved seeing Alfarin again and how he tried so hard to help Tyler! I fell in love with him then. He was so sweet and gorgeous as well.
I still totally love Tyler with all his scruffiness from living on the island.

My heart hurts for him and what he went through as well as for Haldir and Sif as they worked together to bring him back.
I sure hope whatever is going on now blows over quickly so they can get on with their lives together. Tyler deserves true happiness and no more strife in his life. Fix it!

The Cowboy and the Mermaid
Everybody was waiting impatiently for the strength potion for Tyler to be ready.
Samuel, Alfarin and Sif were very concerned about Tyler´s state, they could see that he was clearly fighting with his inner soul again. He got thinner in the last few weeks and since a few days he fell back in his old, avoidance behavior and began to run away. This time there weren´t any horses he could jump on so he began to jogg around the town.
Every morning, very early, when the others were still sleeping he woke up, put on his sportswear and left the house.
He tried to be very sneaky but Sif woke up soon after he left the bedroom every time. Sometimes she just stayed in bed, crying for him and for their relationship.
Sometimes she hurried after him, trying to stop him from running and talking to him about his problems but he was faster than her all the time.
Sometimes she just waited for him in the entrance hall, alone with her thoughts and her fears of losing him. She was so afraid of losing him! She knew that he had done this running away before, when he was full of nightmares and pain, but she didn´t know why he had the need to run away now? Did he run away from her? From her desire to live together with him and to marry him and to be a family? But he had said that he wanted to be with her and that he already planned their future and that he was already renovating a house in Moonlight Falls to live together in!
So why did he isolate? What was going on in him?
She was so worried, full of fear and desperation.
Whenever Alfarin was at home and sensed the desperation of his sister he tried to build up her courage again.
He talked to her about his experience with Tyler and that he would suggest to her that she should call Haldir or Travis to tell them what happened to Tyler and what they would suggest her to do.
He knew that Tyler´s dads would know in which state their son was in again and that they would have a solution for her.
One day, she had waited for Tyler to come home, again, she wanted to talk to him about his need to run.
But as soon as she wanted to know what was wrong with him he snapped and called her too curious and too personal, that it wasn´t her business what he was doing.
"Leave me alone, I´m not good for us," was the last what she could heard from him.
Then he ran away again.
After that she had the strong need to cry out loud but she pulled herself together and dialed Haldir´s number. "I didn´t die for him just to be pushed away from him!" she thought while waiting for Haldir to answer her call.
"Hi, my light, nice to hear from you," when she heard Haldir´s soft voice she began to cry again.
"Sif, sweety, what is wrong? Why do you cry? Please, don´t cry anymore, my girl. Yes, Travis, it´s Sif. Sif, can I make the phone louder so Travis can listen as well?"
"Yes, that would be good", she sniffled, feeling a bit better already, hearing Haldir´s voice.
"Hello my dear, what is wrong?" she could hear the worried voice of her "adopted, soon to be" papa and she could cry out even more because she could feel and hear the love in his voice and she felt so lonely right now!
"It´s Tyler. He-"
"What did he do now? I´ll kill him again if he hurt you!" Haldir got miffed about his reluctant son.
"No, don´t Haldir, don´t kill him! I- well, I can´t live without him."
"I know, my girl, I am just so angry about the boy that he had made you cry! So, can you tell us what is wrong?"
And she told Tyler´s parents what happened every morning and that he didn´t come home before lunch. And that he was getting thinner again and that he didn´t want to talk with her or Alfarin anymore. And that they haven´t, uhm, had woohooed since days now.
Haldir and Travis listened with more and more concern.
"You´ve said you can´t feel the darkness in him anymore. Was that right? Or is there some left in him?" Travis asked his husband.
"No, there isn´t even the slightest bit of it in him anymore. I suggest that it is him himself and his worries and his depression which lets him run away," Haldir said.
"Sif, is the potion ready for him to drink?"
"Nearly. Alfarin said that he can drink it in a few days."
"Ok, then tell Alfarin that he has to mix another potion which he has to give Tyler soon after the strength potion, ok? I´ll send him the formula, but I am quite sure he knows it."
"What is it?"
"It lifts his mood and hopefully tears him out of his depression. I know that it can help him, I just hope that he isn´t too deep in his own misery. I gave him that potion from his early teenage years on whenever he slid deeper into his depression. He didn´t know that and I hope you won´t tell him, he already is angry at me still, he would get mad if he knew what I did to help him."
"No, I won´t tell him, dad, so when he has drunken that and the strengthen potion he will be alright again?”
"He will be a bit better, that´s for sure!" Haldir said.
"But I am afraid that you have still talk to him about his behavior and that it hurts you so much, my dear," Travis told her. "He is deaf of others and himself sometimes and sometimes he is just numb inside, so he has to get pulled out of this state again. I always tried that by telling him how T-Rey loved him and that he couldn´t live without his love. And I highly believe that, if you tell him that you are so sad and lonely without him, that this will have the same effect on him. Tell him how you love him and that he is loved by all of us and by T-Rey, I hope that this will wake him up."
"Ok, then I have to talk to him again, right?"
"You have to, I am afraid, my dear, and I guess that this won´t change during the many years you´ll be together with him. He is sick, this depression has screwed him up, and I am afraid that when you really want to spend the rest of your life with him you have to find a way to arrange yourself with this sh...t."
She could hear the sorrow and the compassion in Travis´voice.
"Would you like us to come?" Haldir asked.
"Hm, I really would like to have you with us, but I think I have to try to get through him on my own at first. Can I call you again if I need your help?"
"Ach, of course you can, you don´t have to ask, my girl, you can phone us whenever you want, no matter the time or place, my love!" Haldir´s voice was as soft and compassionate that she had to cry again.
"Ok, then I´ll talk to him again."
"Do that and then you phone us again and tell us how the talk went, ok?"
"This I will do! Thank you so much for your help!"
"Not for this, my light, not for this," and with this words Haldir hung up and she was alone with her worried thoughts.
She waited for Tyler, she wanted to talk to him instantly after he got home. She HAD to talk to him.
When he came home he seemed to be in a good mood.
So she told him that she wanted him to talk about his fears and why he was running away from her.
And was shocked about his aggressive reaction. He yelled at her that she didn´t have to stick her nose into his business!
Then he went upstairs and she could hear him closing the door behind him and locking it.
She broke down and cried again.
Alfarin could hear his sister cry and comforted her. She told him that she had talked with Haldir and he promised her to brew the potion instantly. After making sure that she was better he went upstairs, too.
And then she could hear him knocking harshly at Tyler´s door.
She couldn´t hear if Tyler let him in or if Alfarin had to leave him and she didn´t want to know it anymore. She was so exhausted that she took a nap in the fairy house, trying to sooth her worried mind by feeling the soft and cold leaf-bed under her aching body and soul.

Gosh, of course I remember that you gave me nightmares! I was so proud of me that I wrote the story and that I had avoided to tell everybody that both of them fell in love instantly and you just told me that she would be his perfect girl friend!

I just want to hug them both and at the same time smack Tyler around a little (just a little, enough to bring him out of his self) for hurting her. I know he can't really control it, but it does make me cranky!

aha! So Haldir had to give a potion in the past to Tyler so this depression is not new by any means.
So, after getting off the phone what does she do, instead of telling him how much she loves him and the others love him as Haldir suggested she berates him for running off and not talking to her. oh dear. Sif is very hurt by his behavior and not her usual smart self. Haldir and Travis are very much needed!

The summary was not confusing at all and would help any new readers get up to speed without having to go back to the beginning. I would still recommend they read from the beginning to really soak it all up though.

So I don´t live under a stone when it comes to music, but with your music suggestions I get to know a whole new form of music, because when country is played here it is just the old music from Johnny Cash or John Denver or Dolly Parton (what a great person!!).
Yes, from outside I would like to smack Tyler (and others who are deep in their depression) but I know from my own experience that this wouldn´t help at all. When the depression has you under control you are deaf to everyone and numb inside.
So it didn´t matter if Sif had hugged him or if she argued with him, he would always have reacted like he did with running away from everything that wants to break his cage.
I would say that he needs professional help, his family can´t help him much. The only thing his dad could do was brewing this potion which is obviously is a kind of antidepressant. But with the things he was going through I would think that this antidepressant won´t help anymore, he MUST talk about his problems with someone professional. Dr Compassione is still in Moonlight Falls, I soo hope that he is willing to have his therapy sessions!
His dads know that he had depressions from his teenage years on and they could handle him with being very attentive and with giving him this potion, because he was fighting for not having the needed help.
It got better, though, when he became YA, but the happenings which he had to experience during the last two years pushed him deep into a black hole from which he couldn´t get out atm.
I just hope that Haldir and Travis can help him when they arrive.

Hubby has had ongoing depression since teenhood and never once lashed out at anyone, just would be very quiet but still always so polite so I just don't get Tyler's evil Nastiness at all, unless he is one of the ones I mentioned but I don't truly think he is! Tyler is treating someone who he SAYS he loves (which I highly doubt he even knows what the word means, anymore!) he is treating her like less than dirt! And treating his Dog better than someone who loved him so much she died for him!
I am so glad that she was able to talk to her 2 dads and that they were so loving towards her and tried to help! I laughed when Haldir said he would kill him! LOL I know that feeling I wanted to as well! You wrote that so perfectly! and I LOVED when Alfie pounded on his door very loudly!!! god I love the guy so much!

Ok, where to start... Yes, Tyler had run away from his first wife as well. Buuuut: their relationship wasn´t as good as it was before and he was betrayed by her WITH HIS BROTHER. Moreover he didn´t feel good, but didn´t get any help from her at all.
One of the reasons to run away from her was that he didn´t want to snap as he did with Sif, because he still loved her.
He loves Sif more than Stella (and much, much more than himself!!!!), but he is in fear that he has to go through all the bad things he had gone through again. And because he didn´t learn to talk about his problems he doesn´t know better than running away from all problems. He knows that that led to the break up with Stella, but he can´t change.... he is imprisoned in his cage of fear. The biggest fear is to lose Sif, but he still is not able to talk to her..... He didn´t want to be bad to her so he ran away, but when she faced him with this he couldn´t get away from her fastly enough so he snapped. And he knows that this was sooo wrong, that is why he ran away from her. See the awful circle he is trapped in??
He knows that she died for him and that she loves him and he knows that he is an a$$hole when he argues with her, but he can´t do better...
Furthermore he still thinks that he is not good enough for her....
So although I am sorry for Sif, I am much more sorry for Tyler. (and I can understand him soooo much...!!!)
He isn´t bad at all! He is a sweet, frightened, confused and lonely man. Who doesn´t understand that all the people surrounding him love him from the bottom of their hearts. As said, he thinks so bad of himself that he can´t even imagine that people love him and care for him.

Sitting alone in a dark dungeon, knowing that the woman who you swore to love till the end of their days won´t pay for you to be released? He lost his memories, but he didn´t lose all the feelings he gone through during that time, so there was still this anger against her about which he didn´t know why he had it... Don´t you think that he had gone through so many nightmares that he can snap from time to time?
Of course Alfarin had to talk to Tyler after he saw his sister cry! But, I know that you don´t agree, it is her own fault! If she did what Haldir told her than Tyler hadn´t freaked out..... But she heaped accusations on him, not a good way to get through to him....
But I can assure you that Tyler isn´t that a$$ that you think he is, he already thinks about what went wrong...

OK I read it again. He was betrayed by his brother with Stella but After he was already abandoning her from all his affection (emotional abuse) and even while she was Pregnant! (he should have been thrown in Jail for that! I'm sure there must be a law against that, somewhere!) Tyler withdrew love first. right? Right!
But yes I Do see the circle he has trapped himself in with Sif and his feelings that he refuses to talk about and refuses to get help with, because he is a long distance runner it appears, and always has to practice his running.🏃♂️
OK Seriously, Yes It is an awful circle but I fear He has to be the one to try and break the circle to improve. Change can onlu come from within, yes others can help but essentially, up to the individual? So It probably can only start from self, especially if he keeps being so mean to everyone who tries to help him and then runs away. I don't know the ultimate answer.
One question, Does he get a Benefit from all the running? It Looks like he doesn't get a benefit from it because he is crabby and abusive again right after he returns, so that leads me to ask will he finally learn It is only Logical that if one keeps doing the same thing day after day and always getting the same crappy results will he ever think ''ummm this isn't working, and my legs are sore and now I need new running shoes."... well you get my meaning. He is genius/logical no? Or is he absent minded and forgets that running is useless? I know! In that state of mind there is no logic, it is all mind trips and emotion! A horrible nightmare!

No. He began to run/ride away after he came home from Fortress Rock where he betrayed Stella without knowing that and because a love spell was put on him. Additionally his memeories were (badly) manipulated so he HAD some feelings he knew he wasn´t supposed to have. Moreover their relationship was already becoming bad even before he travelled to Fortress Rock. Stella became pregnant BECAUSE shje wanted to patch up their marriage somehow, which didn´t work. (a kid should never be made just to patch up a marriage!!!)
So no wonder that Tyler wasn´t interested in her pregnancy, because he felt hate for her (because of his badly hidden memories and that she tried to have the baby against his will).
And then she began to betray him.
I don´t think he withdrew love first, it just happened that all the happenings appeared to be at the same time.

Unfortunately I didn´t write the story from the beginning, because it changed a bit from a travel diary to a real story so when the splitting of Stella and him began I didn´t write about it. Tyler didn´t even react to Stella giving birth, they had been arguing about her getting pregnant without his permisson a lot before.
Sorry that I didn´t write that, I thought that pictures told about it.
At that moment in the story I wasn´t sure if I should go on with the travel diary and the captions to the pictures or if I should try to really write a story.
So I didn´t really write about all the things which went on in the story.

When Thore and Stella flirted in front of him and Travis Stella begged for forgiveness and Tyler really forgave her, and this happened many times. I should have written out this much better!!!

He was stunned about his father, he always thought that he was a man with good morals, but giving in to a cheater??? He was confused! If only his parents had parted before! He knew that they hadn´t had the same lovingly feelings towards each other anymore, so why didn´t they just broke up? Why was his father so passive? And why had his mother chosen Thore for her little game??? He hoped that he could talk with his grandfathers about the incident as soon as Travis had calmed down a bit and Haldir was home again! (normally he would have talked with his beloved father about such problems but this was no option at the moment, Seth needed an explanation about the whole situation and he knew that only his granddads could explain what was going on and what would happen now. And his dad was gone, he had taken one of the horses again! And he couldn´t stand his mother now, he thought that it was her behaviour that made everything broken!)
Here you can see that Tyler didn´t know what to do anymore. He had talked to her, forgave her and she still flirted with Thore.
So there were a lot of forgiveness from the side of Tyler and nothing to try to restore their relationship by Stella. I am a bit angry about myself that I couldn´t/didn´t write it out better. Sorry for that.

Travis and Haldir talked to her because they had TWO boys with whom she "played" with and they were very concerned for them. They´ve told her that she had to decide what she wanted to do, they wanted to make her decide what she wanted to do, and they wanted from her to not hurt their sons!!!! What she did with her behavior.
Moreover Haldir told her about the foreseeing again and asked if she had forgotten it or if she only ignored it, to the sorrow of Tyler...
Travis wanted her to leave the family, but Haldir just wanted her to DECIDE between them both.
Not the best way to deal with the problems, but they didn´t care for her so much as they cared for their sons.
Haldir didn´t mind if she had to leave the family or not, he just wanted to protect his family.
They watched their sons and how they´ve dealt with that awful situation and Haldir wanted to intervene muche earlier, but Travis told him that Tyler and Stella had to find a way on their own....
Tyler and Stella talked alot during that time but somehow they didn´t talk TOGETHER but at cross purposes.

Oh yes, that picture! As you can see, it is a very new one, it is after Tyler´s illness, he changed to a short haircut, he likes his new hairstyle. And it is a relatively new picture, because you can see a new tattoo on his left neck/throat(from his point of view).

I just started at the first link and am re-reading All without stopping! I can't believe so much of what I am reading now seems to have different and so much stronger meaning to me Now than when I first read it! Yes I was only wondering that at the first time reading it, a way long time ago. (this is my 3rd or maybe even 4th reading!) I know it wasn't that way after knowing more of Travis and Haldir!!!
That pic with the Orange shirt is soo soo cute of both brothers! It shows both personalities so well I think! I always do get the feeling that Thore is thinking things might be ok between him and Tyler now, that he has apologized so many times. BUT I think if I were Tyler I wouldn't be able to forget, maybe I could forgive, but not likely to ever forget!!!
