So definitely not a game changer for me but about the uselessness I was expecting for my gameplay.

How do you feel about first person view in sims 4?

I'm just curious too see how everyone feels about this being the secret feature.

I haven't watched the video yet but I'm guessing it'll make me motion sick.

I'm indifferent. It looks good for what it is. I'm not disappointed because I'm smart enough to not buy into hype. I'd be way more interested to see what the highly requested bug fixes mentioned are going to be.

Really useless "feature". Especially how much the devs mention how limited their resources and time is, then they decide to spend their time to develope this. Just no...

I wasnt even hyped and it is still really meh/disappointing.

That was vastly more entertaining than I'd have expected if you just told me "first-person camera mode". I won't use it a lot, and never, ever, ever for swings (that was not good for the body!), but I can see using it as a pick-me-up

I don't care for the feature personally. It was in Sims 2 and I used it maybe once or twice for quick laughs and never used it again. I imagine the same will be true for this.

I like it. It was fun seeing the world from a sims perspective for a change. Probably won't use it a lot, but it's still a nice feature to have available.

I think this will be really fun! I am actually surprised it’s something this good.

It's not something I'll use a lot, but I can see where it will be fun for some players. It'll be popular with streamers and Let's Play YouTube videographers; might be cool to get a tour of a house done in first person, similar to the 3D videos that a lot of real estate sites are now featuring. Storytellers might be able to get some unique screenshots to help them illustrate their stories. Like @SimGuruKate said, it's small but fun, but for many of the SimsCampers (especially those who do stream or make YouTube videos) it's a far bigger deal for them.

You can't control how much people will hype a feature. For all we know, the guy who claimed this feature to be gamechanging might actually find it to be that way. That is his opinion.

I think players should from this day forward get to vote on what they get in a patch. I doubt this would have been one in the top ten of things people would like to see as a free update.

Agreed. If you say game changing I expect something that will alter the gameplay in a meaningful way even if just an attraction system.

I have no idea how someone could spend more time on first person view than the EP.

I think SIm Guru Steve saw the hype train was getting carried away as usual when he tried to pull it back a little earlier by reminding people it was small but fun. Not going to comment on the source of the hype train as let’s just say I’m not surprised.

I feel like some Game Changers aren't always fully honest, as if they're afraid saying something negative will get them kicked off the program. So sometimes they're so enthusiastic it actually sounds fake. I think if you're gonna "change" the game, then you need to be honest. Just my opinion.
