Origin wont let me download seasons

Origin wont start downloading sims 3 seasons even though I have the base game.
When I go to the page for sims 3 seasons it says to use this you must have the sims 3 starter pack, which from what i can see is the base, late night and high end loft stuff? Is origin really going to make me buy more this with ep/sp i dont want just to download the game i do want?

If you haven't already done so, you may want to try clearing Origin's cache to see if that helps.

If that doesn't fix it, you might try uninstalling and then reinstalling Origin. Your already installed games will stay intact.

Origin hasn't even been loading for me at all since Oct 30, 2018.

Players with Origin-specific issues, such as not being able to run Origin at all, would probably get better responses posting on EA's AHQ forum.

Account issues if there are any have to be addressed with Customer Service, not on a forum board. Not sure there is really much guidance we players can offer here on this forum other than the usual clear the cache and uninstall/reinstall the client program.
