Interesting. I've never heard that. Sometimes I've heard people state that it's a lack of color rather than a color itself. (I suppose that's only if you're talking about colors of light, though.)

Interesting. I've never heard that. Sometimes I've heard people state that it's a lack of color rather than a color itself. (I suppose that's only if you're talking about colors of light, though.)

I can understand the shade thing. It's closer to a shade than a tint anyway. But I was also taught in my school art classes about it being more of a lack of color.

Just came on to say that I've had several favorite colors and have concluded that I am just a fan of color, period.

IDK why, but blue is one of the more significantly popular colors. Years ago when we were asked to group ourselves by favorite color in a group setting, the blue group was the biggest by far.

My specific favorite is aqua/turquoise, although the other shades are fine.
