    I was using the free real estate cheat just now as I'm trying to fill up my empty houses, and suddenly it won't work. I keep getting "unable to execute command" in the bar.
    I have repaired the game, and cleared all caches which had worked before, but still won't work.
    Any suggestions.
    Meanwhile I might shut down my computer and restart, see if that makes any difference.

    EDIT - Nope, that didn't work either. Looks like my houses will remain empty today. :|

      Yay, solved it! For future reference I went into build and buy and I could open cheats from there, and then went back to the household I wanted to place and the free real estate worked from there. Happy again! :)
