Does loyalty matter to pets?

When you create pets in CAS, you have the option of them being mates. My cats have the want to Try for Kittens with cats they aren't mated to. Does loyalty matter to pets? I don't think it does, but I was wondering. Thanks!

Hi @Earcat. I'm not in game to check what it says about the loyalty trait, but I think it just pertains to the pet's relationship with their human sim(s). I think anytime there is a high-ish relationship level between two pets you'll see the want for kittens pop up, regardless if they're supposedly mated to another. I guess I've never made two pets at the same time in CAS and assigned them as mates either, though, so there may be something in play I know nothing about.

@suzses is correct, loyalty only has to deal with a pet's relationship to their humans.
